Slog reconnects with the remnants of his soul, re-gaining consciousness (or the Slime equivalent). The Essence of Slime disappears.
I never understood this. Slog's still an Illborn, right? So being an Illborn doesn't preclude conciousness? Why doens't it seem to be the case that Slog was something different before becoming an Illborn, like most of the humans who entered the Warrens and were transmuted into Illborn?
Before becoming an illborn, he was a slime. After we revived him, he was a thoughtless husk. A body without a soul.

I meant to say that nobody- and I mean nobody- bothered to check that the SP hack was added correctly after we demonstrated it could be done once; we all (or at least I myself) just assumed that freeform had it figured out. If the error had not been in our favor, I don't think I would have noticed it.
So your argument it is impossible to cheat accidentally? I can see validity to that, though I am not completely sold yet. Was anyone aware that it was not supposed to work that way? And if anyone falsely claims to have been aware that it did not work that way, but claims otherwise in order to validate the acquisition of cheating points, would that then be deliberate cheating and so justify cheating points?

...so, how many of you have modded Slog into as many games as you can? I renamed the Sponges from a save where they were still invincible, turning them all into Slog, but that's it.

That's a neat idea, TalonisWolf.

I develop for an RPG. I might mod one of the TWoOtA classes into the game as a free addon. It'll be hard to do well because we don't know that much about the classes, so far. How about a Ciro-style bloodmage with a time-limited ability to craft procedurally-generated kuh-razy loot?

Or I could do a Yaos-style Intransigent Thaumaturge, or a Glass Guardian, that would work out nicely as well... hmmm!

We could always do an elaborately SP-saving procedure like having one character use the magnet boots to get to higher ground, then chucking down the magnet boots for the next person to use.

Anyway, yeah, fuck it, Windirection main 4 to the Riltiahole!
I think this is adequate though. +1

Also we should use Slog's MP, send a scout up first in case it's blocked off (Al w/ Bulwarks), and take Proxxy too

EDIT: I don't think Riltia's lying to us this time around. She won't have that personal an attachment to that hole. Plus this would be too good a lie for her.

Can't we just Hero Tower the active party up there?  It's just the bottom couple rungs that are missing.

Whatever means we use, I continue to +1 going to the Riltiahole via whatever ascension process seems feasible.
+1 to up.

Slog takes Ciro's wind magic book and, after hitching a ride on Al, casts Windirection on everybody. Good job, Slog!

The tunnel seems to be occupied.

Proxxy+Goombess+Riltia+Al attack the Outer Slicer. Everyone else attack the Outer Suckers.

Let's just kill some guys and get some loot. No need to make it complicated. Afterwards, we can harvest that web for web and fairies.
