I'm ready to assume he already knows we've escaped; Proxxy seems to think that it was a sort of test, which means that Oric put her in there knowing full well it was escapable, and if it were me designing an entirely escapable prison cell then I'd have some mechanism in place to tell me when the escape had been abled.

Here's a thought; did Oric set up that nonsense to test Proxxy herself, or to test whether Proxxy had been possessed by an adventuring, puzzle-solving hivemind (by which, of course, I mean whether Oric set up that test to detect our presence with a puzzle beyond Proxxy's capabilities but within that of the players.)

She's rather in love with Ecco, who hates Oric for what's due to happen to Floe.  She may not be against him, but she's for one of his stronger enemies.
