Derp; I meant take Goombess with us; not sure how that got mangled.

Primary Party: Ciro, Al, Cherish, Ripriver
Passive Party: Goombess, Slog, Kitkat (if necessary return Kitkat to Illborn Exchange)

Ripriver won't go in active, and that puts us at 7.

Ah, right. Well, I'm operating on the assumption that A- The party limit only applies to teleporting and B- Even if it does prevent us from having more than 4 and 2 in each party, we can still just suck Kitkat and/or Slog into the Illborn Exchange until the next time we shuffle party members around. Slog and Kitkat are the current least-useful party members, and they aren't any use left behind on their own so we may as well carry them in the Illborn Exchange just in case.

NOTE: We can only have 6 party members enter the Checkpoint at once.
There are Six Siblings of Oric the Awesome.

Therefore, if we go to final boss Oric with a team of Siblings, we can only bring the siblings.

Yeah, but when we almost die instantly, the rest of the party will come in via plot-hole to save the day, exactly as FFS planned from turn 1.

We could try splitting the party in two groups. The first group teleports in, switches perspective to the second group, and they teleport and reunite with the first.

((The party limit is also a balance/narrative control sanity check, as passive party members may not behave as expected when you have too many. Like that time with the DL3 water.))

IOW don't try to abuse the system.  At least one person has to stay behind.

This is why I say go check for mercs; so if we leave Slog behind he has someone to help!  We must have ALL the people in Al's house!

Sane advice. +1 to checking for mercs.

Also, did you know? That house does not belong to Al. He doesn't own a house. He's lived his whole life living with the person he was taking care of, which is Cherish! This implies that the house belongs to Cherish.

Cherish and Al: How much do you care about your hair? Do you constantly have little combs and stuff to keep it looked after? This is a relevant question, and not just... umm... well, an irrelevant question.

How about this:
We tell Ciro to switch Astral Influx to Riltia, and when the timer on the skill tree reaches zero to switch it back.

We tell Ciro to switch Astral Influx to Riltia, and when the timer on the skill tree reaches zero to switch it back.

This would only work if we could get the skill tree into Riltia's storage (which we probably can do) and we could switch to Riltia in a meaningful time frame (which we probably can't since we just switched to Cherish.)

No, I mean the guys who have the Astral Influx switch to Riltia and stare at the skill timer while we aren't controlling them, so after some time they switch us back automatically.

I like it. It possibly gets around the dying without influx problem, too.
