I think I did a theorycrafting that basically said Oric was trying to piss off Target and the Party for more Soul CHarge.

Also have we guessed that Illborn come from having their soul stars sucked dry, and possibly even kept in battery form somewhere, as the same process Cherish was going through? It seems weird that it'd be possible to become an Illborn when all you have to do is react to things a little.

We should find all the everything and fuse them all into the thing at some point just to see what'd happen.

I concur! What do you get when you cross four bottles, some moss, a searchbot leg, fourteen outer sucker eyes, and a live wisp? I have no idea, but if we ever find a fusion pit we're finding out!
