...That makes a lot of sense, actually. It's never been stated that DL 3 was Cain's level (Has it?), and take a look at Cain's talk sprite, skills, and really just everything. It's completely different from anything else we've seen in the Warrens so far. The same is true for the various spirits we've been fighting. Besides, given that Cain appears to be a megalomaniac, it makes sense that if he were the ruler of the Cleared Levels, which appear when a Sibling has been killed, he'd want to kill more Siblings, in addition to him apparently being just insane.

I thought cleared levels were just an OFF joke. They really don't have to be connected to just one person, and are probably filled with horrific memories gathered from important people in the Warrens'

We've seen a cloaked figure, yaos, and a hooded swordsman.

Creature 1: No idea.
Creature 2: Wilford
Creature 3: Yaos
Creature 4: Minus

I wonder if there's a link between Wilford and the rest of the fords?

Wait, maybe there's a link in the abilities, personalities, etc. of the characters, and those of the ghosts? For example, Creature 3, who we're fairly certain is Yaos, took only 1 point of damage before dying, but judging from the amount of dice rolled, the thing would have dealt a LOT of damage if we didn't have the Bulwark. And what was one of Yaos's lines?



"Dying young in exchange for prospering early."

Of course, we really can't confirm this until we do battle with more spirit mooks, but still. If we could find out about Minus, though, we might be able to prepare for what the ghost is going to do.
Al, I need to ask you one more question, and a very loose one at that. What, if anything, are you willing to tell us about Minus? We don't need much, just a class name or something. Maybe an ability she used a lot. We think the boss here might have similar abilities, and knowledge of them could be instrumental in keeping you alive, or at least relatively undamaged.

Regardless, I propose we sit and guard at close range.
