But we're not a hero.  We're not out to defeat the bad guy.  We're Bay 12, after all.  Our primary goal is to use up expensive materials for minor gain because why not.  We're in it for the looting, not the loot, and damnit if we're going to let something tell us we can't have our pet slime back.
Ciro =/= Bay12. I'm acting in-character, so sue me.
And why not? Because it's a waste of time and you probably won't even get your worthless slime back!

Ciro's character IS Bay 12.  He all but knows this too.  And if we aren't getting Slog back, then we aren't using enough resources magma.

We need to decide on who we leave at home. I vote we leave Slog just to see what he'll do.

Edit: Also, warp back to DL3 after we do whatever.

Update most-recent-storage in OP
then
Put away anything in a jar, FIRST SHIFT all soul stars, give Al the Astral Influx for a second to try to SECOND SHIFT it, as an experiment; should this fail, AL should try to THIRD SHIFT it. If either works, unshift the star and give it back, and Al takes the Asynchonity Catalyst. Put the money in storage, give Slog the ice spell, goombess the ring of sexy, Al the bag of slot from Cherish and the hard hat.
Leave cherish at the house to make some cash.
Console Goombess that our emotional attachment to slog doesn't make him better, we just like him better. Only in a positive way, with some sort of gift. Like a puppet turned into a hat.
Warp to DL2.

Frizz is soulbound now. It didn't use to be soulbound. Does this mean Slog has a soul now?
I think this might reveal something about the mechanics of soulbinding if we look close enough.
Frizz is actually a pretty good spell. 3-6 damage, 6-12 damage vs organics, for only 3 sp.

Hey FFS, out of curiosity, what do you use to make the Warrens OST?

It/its, they/them, in order of preference.

I support most of the things, but:
-Al stays. He is going to make money, not Cherish.
-We leave every soul star in storage.
-Cherish gets the hard hat and becomes our tank. 7 dr, hell yeah.

I support DL2 Warp.
And that we keep the stars.

EDIT: Oh hey, FFS, what program did you use for that song? I'd kill for a quality audio mixer (if it's free too, that'd be koolio.)

I used the VSTs from Tweakbench for the sounds and an old 'basic' version of FL studio I've been lugging around for years now :P

What would Slog even farm?
He would beg for food on the streets, waiting for our return.
Then eat the spoils for himself.

Which is why we should never leave Slog in the Underside

Without responsible adult supervision.

If we leave him WITH AL, he'd probably boost Al's monster fighting farming rewards substantially from Frizz. If we leave him with Cherish, he'd probably make her churn out more crafting rewards because he can haul stuff around for her saving time. Left with Goombess, he'd probably try to consume her. Never leave the rabbit with the lettuce, or the fox with the rabbit.

I'd assume that for something to be soulbound there must be a soul, but we've seen illborn with soulbound items before, such as the robot we had for a very short while and Goombess. I assume it's just a mechanics update, but it probably has a deeper meaning.

Probably means their essence has minor amounts of charge; but y'know , still not a complete Soul
