This is a probably a bit off-topic to what everyone else is talking about,

but I've just realised how Ice Flurry is both brilliant (now) and useless (later).
First, the numbers. 4-8 damage, with an average of 6, for 6SP. Pretty lame until you realise that that is 4 guaranteed damage. If we really need to finish something off, and know how many HP it has (be it through tattle, prior experience, or some other means), this could be used.
Another thing: this is Ice damage. Against ice-susceptible creatures (i.e. most of the things on DL2, possibly including the searchbots - we have never attacked them with 'special' damage, if I remember correctly), this is basically double damage, for a minimum of 8, average of 12, and max of 16. To put this into perspective, wisps have 8HP and big wisps 20. (again, IIRC)
And it only costs one SP more than warzone, and is a lot more useful at the moment.
There is, however, another 'cost' - complete and utter redundancy against armour. A single point of DR knocks a point of damage off of EACH die (4d2 is, in this one instance, inferior to 2d4 - despite the 'new' average damage being the same, 2d4 has the potential for more). Whilst we have yet to encounter an enemy with DR, I'm sure we will. Still, if we get lucky, we could kill a big wisp in one turn with this and a couple of other attacks.

And there are a few other things to consider aswell, pardon if I am focusing too much on the "Hidden" aspects,(it just seems like the clever uses for a lot of this stuff is going a bit overlooked) but ice is also a good utility item, i have never heard of a robot that could move with ice spikes wedged in its moving parts. One idea i had was to re-obtain growth, and use it to grow plants from a bloodshape, then freese the whole thing to make a superweapon it is easyly crazy enough to work, SWORDBLOODCHAINPLANTICEFLAILLAMP
