Well, we're talking about a failed roll under circumstances where past failed rolls actually would make successive rolls harder to succeed (since the Wisps trust Ciro less and less with each bullshit thing she says). It's not really the same situation. Expecting it to improve by doing the same type of action with no other modifications is insane.

A better comparison would be trying to draw the exact same picture three times except the subject itself on paper looks shitty, so no matter how many times you repeat that specific shitty drawing, it'll still be a shitty drawing. You'd have to draw something else for it to look better.
