Well, technically speaking she is mentioned as the 'Glass Heroine'
Let's assume statues are 'notice boards' for 'Siblings'.
Heroine is enemy of siblings.
So they were asking the monsters around to keep an eye out and slay her because she betrayed them.

And Yandere is funnier when you have multiple female heroines capable of smashing aside the hero, and end up locked in a fight between them.

We need an anime-version of a Yandere triangle with Ciro in the middle.
it would be awesome.

One question: Why all the Rililililitailaitaltialta (CAN'T FIGURE OUT THAT SPELLING)/Ciro shipping? From where I'm currently at (p59) there's ... no basis for any kind of yandere relationship between them. At all.

Wow, I just realized that even though this game has been running for four months already, we've killed Wilford and Riltia less than a week in. o_0

Is there a direct connection between Underside and DL2? And what is DL1, for that matter? I'm completely fuzzy on the locations.

Hence, my guess is that the Dungeon levels, aren't in fact, stacked. They're all different planes (Explains how they can change without messing up structural integrity, and also the existence of traps). The underside is part of the gigantic support network for DL2, and maybe the other dungeon levels. It's a maintenance area, outside of the main dungeon. Some place we're not supposed to acces. (Though are. It's the area in the game that makes you feel like you're doing something you're not supposed to do, while still following exactly what the game doesn't want you to do).

The starting location is DL1, yes. However, time and space is not what it seems to be in the warrens.

I'm not usually one to partake in the theory guessing, but I'll put two cents out there.

On the Illborn, I was thinking, the people who show up in the Astral Influx are these:
Ciro, Riltia, Al, Cherish, Proxxy.
Ciro is main character.
Riltia was not available while in her Yandere form.
Al is neither Illborn nor Sibling.
Cherish is same.
Proxxy is a confirmed Sibling.

Characters not available that (maybe) should have been:
Wilford, Chief, Mili, Cool Crab, Slog.
Clearly, the first three were never part of the party, but Chief is a confirmed Illborn, and Wilford and Mili are unknown.(And we'll never find out, since Wilford's taking an acid bath and Mili's... you know)
Cool Crab is a confirmed Illborn.
Slog is a confirmed Illborn.

What this seems to suggest is that Illborn cannot be selected by the Astral Influx, even if they can speak(Cool Crab) or have a place in the shipping chart (Slog)

Also, Cool Crab placed himself into the Illborn Exchange, which means that while the Astral Influx can't take Illborn, the exchange picks them up, but can't take a non-Illborn, but we still need to figure out how that works.
It's called an Illborn Exchange, but what is it exchanging? It can't be the Illborn themselves, because Cool Crab went into the larger box, and there's only one of those.

So we have the Astral Influx, which controls the selected character, and the Illborn Exchange, which affects Illborn in some way....
So.... what does Proxxy's do?

I think that once we figure that out we'll have a better understanding of thier importance.

Now, back to Riltia not being able to be selected while in Yandere form, since the Astral Influx doesn't seem to process Illborn, it seems to me that Riltia actually became an Illborn herself during her transformation, which would indicate that being "Illborn" is not what something nesasarely is, but rather, that being "Illborn" is more of a state of being, that can change. Maybe Chief wasn't always an Illborn? Maybe he was originally a free soul like Al, which begs the question of what happened to Chief?

As for Proxxy's odd color on the Astral Influx, if the Astral Influx and Illborn Exchange are both soul stones or whatever, then how can it choose someone who already has their own soulstone? In fact, FFS stated during the interlude of Cain that he didn't want to shift characters, "without the Astral Influx", but how would we shift to Cain if we never met him? He doesn't show up as an option, and in that case, how would we switch back? And would his portrait have a green color over it? If that's the case, then why doesn't Riltia have a grey color over her? Why doesn't Ciro have one?

Why does Cain's Soulstone have power of the Illborn? Maybe he was a force in creating them? Maybe he's an Illborn himself, along with being a sibling, which would explain why he never showed up in the Astral Influx, but, if he never showed up in the astral influx, because of him having an Illborn quality, then how did the Narritive Control select him? If Cain really is an Illborn, than we can probably safely assume that he became one through the murder of his siblings, in which case, how long does Al have before he become one through his acts?

I think the (bestial)Illborn are the byproduct of the harvesting, and corruption of the soul of a creature.
The term Illborn most likely applies to all creatures who have their soul ripped out, but lack the Star.
While in the process of harvesting the Soul star(or invalid method of reviving a being), they might corrupt the soul itself, malforming the disconnected body and mind of the creature it belongs to.
Like how when Rilitia died, and was reborn, it was hinted it had to do with the creation of Illborn. Rilitia's soul star was heavily corrupted and along with it, her mind and body were corrupted as well, turning her into a giant triangle worm with wings that had the one and only intent to find Ciro. The strength of a soul might also co-relate to the strength of the Corrupted Illborn, as a sibling, Rilitia had a relatively strong soul, this led to completely destructive and almost overpowered Illborn with  the strength to possibly destroy the Warrens themselves.

Her corrupted soul might be a lead in the Illborn theory, as because a Soul is something that contains the information of what the person is, and what they have done

The highly corrupted form targets those who are not Illborn, or those who get in it's way, as said by Al, who said that the monsters never attacked Wilford, and were attracted to him greatly.

but you've always known there was something different about them. For example: they only attack specific people - like you - as if they knew to hunt them down. You try not to think really hard about things like this. Ruins your calm, you know?

Betweenford's realm is, IIRC, what you get when you manage to enter a spot that isn't 'on the dungeon map', basically a more player-friendly alternative to how the old Wizardry games would tell you you'd teleported into solid rock if you tried to teleport to spaces on the map that had no entrance. I'd think the pipe levels that Proxxy dropped us into might be a better example, except I think they may be on the same layer as DL2.

That said, the Dungeons proper do rearrange frequently. And Betweenford's realm is probably the void they do it in. I wonder if Betweenford is getting sick of having rooms full of traps and monsters spontaneously generating in his living room or something.

I figured that Betweenford's realm is just a not initialized portion of the dungeon. Basically, the room failed to load and the result was to send them to a dummied out room rather than to show a 404 Not Found page. Or something like the Chris Houlihan Room from Legend Of Zelda: A Link to the Past.

Which either means we tried to get to a room that didn't exist in the lower level at the time... or the floor doesn't generate until we arrive at the proper starting point. Some of the stuff that Proxxy says seems to imply there are areas that aren't changed during Random Room Generation.
