Al briefly borrows the spellbook of Windirection from Slog, seeing the poor Slime out of SP. I wave him off as he ascends to the hole in the "ceiling" to see what lies above.





That's kind of weird. I've never seen monsters making colonies or hatching before. Maybe the monsters down here are different somehow? Now that I think about it, all the monsters in the Warrens proper seem to be generated or tossed around with the Dungeon Levels, but the Underside isn't a Dungeon Level, is it?



Everyone heads east. Huddled around the sparse remains of some building, I can see three Outer Suckers and an Outer Slicer -- maybe the same one from before. It's getting really cramped in here. One of the Outer Suckers has a funny hat on. (Knowledge: 1! Critical ignorance!) By my highly educated guess, the Santa-hat Outer Sucker has about 999 HP. Better not try to fight it!

On the off chance it's killable, you should definitely mug it and give the hat to Slog. It's been a while since he had some stylish headgear.

Well, Ciro, if the Santa Hat Sucker is a special encounter, Goom-Bess must Tattle it! (She can do that in the Passive Party, right?)

And, even if you aren't fighting the Sucker, that doesn't mean you can't loot it! We must steal that hat. It's even in Ciro's color scheme! Maybe have Proxxy hand that scroll to Al to free up an inventory space, and use her +3 AGI to swoop in and swipe the hat while escaping retaliation?
