So now that Harry's the Winter Knight, Molly's the Winter Lady, I think I know how Ebenezar got the Blackstaff. If some of you remember, in Cold Days or some other book, he talks to the Faerie Mothers again, and Mother Summer mentions that Mother Winter has 'lost her walking stick'. Mother Winter is a fairly big badass and death-dealer. I think Ebenezar made a deal with her/stole the Blackstaff from her. It fits in with the whole succession thing. Ebenezar is bonded to/stole from Mother Winter, Harry's bonded to Mab, and Molly is the Winter Lady.
