Courtship of Princess Leia was the... second star wars book I read, I think. After Truce at Bakura. Which I probably got a hold of during one of the initial print runs.

I'll give Han this much. As marriage proposal gift thingies go, dude doesn't aim small. But yeah, I was kinda' there for the initial EU publications.

Yes, a planet filled with Rancors and inhabited by two warring clans of primitive Force-users. Every girl's dream! :P

A planet sized harem of force users. Sure, mostly the wrong gender for Leia's preferences, but whatever! Also pet space T-Rexes.

And an imperial installation but details, details. Point being, there's not too many folks that decide a flipping planet makes for a good dowry-thingy. It counts for something! And the whole herpes Hapes thing turned out good, too!

Orks think that they cannot lose, and will charge into battle as though they are unkillable.
If they win, they win! If they lose, it doesn't count because they can fight again! If they die, Orky spores yo. Fight again.

They don't believe they're unkillable, because then there's no fun!

[Although there is a warband of Orks in the Eye of Terror that IS technically immortal and fighting daemons for all eternity. SUCK IT DRAIGO].

You know, things might be even worse without daemons restraining psykers. For the sake of the argument, have one of every faction present. I'd love to see what would happen when the chaos warband realize their gods can't have power here :D. On the other hand, it would boil down to the Necrons, as per usual, seeing as they're doing better then the force without the force. On another hand, Eldar who didn't have o worry about Slaneesh? How is the force when it comes to etheral presence? Otherwise, the only two god-level psykers would be the emperor and the hive mind.

Incidentally, 40k pilots become their ship, at least as i remember from gaunt's ghosts. How does that weigh up against the other groups, and wedge?

Force Ghosts are a thing, certainly. Though generally they seem to be plot-based whether or not they actually appear.

Star Wars pilots, for the most part, do not have direct neural-input into their space ships. But with Wedge Antilles invoked... I'm a pretty serious Wedge fanboy, so let's try to keep him out of it, otherwise he will win. :P
Also, this does mean that SW pilots do not feel PAIN when their ships get shot to shit. I always thought that was pretty retarded. Why would you wire yourself to feel pain even when non-essential parts of your vehicle got damaged? That's just very poor planning.

Apparently, according to the mostly-shit-awful PT, Force Ghosting requires some training.

It makes sense, though. Otherwise the galaxy would be overloaded with Force Ghosts, especially at the locations of battles where hundreds of them died.

"But, I have a mission to com-"
"Listen gramps, I already said no. Sorry, it's just how it is. I've got stormtroopers to shoot and places to infiltrate, okay?"

Samus VS Master Chief All the Spartans, because quite frankly Samus is so powerful she needs a spehss handbag to store the skulls of the enemies she's personally decapitated. Without even raising a finger.

With or without the Plasma beam? Or the Dark beam?

And what the ninja said.

Or the Ice beam? You get the idea...

Samus has the advantage in fire-power, but a Spartan II has the edge in strength and speed, I think.

The problem is that before she can even think, Linda, who was hiding beneath a space ship fifty miles away, would of killed her by ricocheting a round off a nearby moon, through a ships fusion drive, and then it would of hit Samus in a weak spot in her armor, precisely disabling the suit so it can be retrieved for research.

The problem with that is Samus is well-versed in the art of 'Go find all your stuff you got disabled again'. By the time Linda gets over there to actually pick it up Samus will be halfway through Chozodia again already. Or punching semi-important Ing in the face-equivalents with charge shots/missiles.
