Well, the magic powers the flying, they flying device you wear on your legs, and the enemy came in the middle of people being at the beach. The rest of the time theres an enemy is more like this.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

No one here's ever watched Farscape?
A little bit! Like. A decade ago.

... I don't remember any of it. I only vaguely remember the image of that dude in the bondage getup. I think there's a few good sized Xover fics involving it, actually. But I've never read them.

Da fuq was that? Buncha girls in swimsuits with airplane legs? With magic?
Every time I think I hit the weirdness limit, I find something new.
Oh gods, please don't tempt people to one-up Strike Witches. It's not a difficult task but the further people go along those lines the closer the thread gets to being locked.

I forget if SW had any redeeming aspects, t'be honest. Mostly yuri-flavored fanservice/fetish appeasement was my initial appraisal, but I never really watched much so... maybe it got better. The world's made worse base material worthwhile, so... I'unno.

A "Referral Denied" error message? Unusual enemy design, I must say.

@ Frumple: Yeah, okay you have a point. Still, as a concept I'd rank "magic girls with jet/propeller legs" pretty high on the Bizzaro list.

Well, thats what I get for trying to use tvtropes as an image source I guess. Try hitting enter on the address bar or something.

@Frumple
The fighting is pretty decent. Basically, aliens attacking (and conquering europe). Bunch of magic people fight them with guns (and one of them with a sword, because why not) instead of WW2 happening, since you can't WW2 when all you have is britain (and japan, which isn't in europe). Pants are nowhere to be had, presumably since the flying machine would be hard to fit on pants or something.

I seem to recall one explanation (not sure if it was canon or fanon) held that the engines had magic pocket dimensions rather than just being tiny and wrapped around the witches' legs. But yeah, one of those shows that almost makes up for all the fanservice with shooting, aliens, and shooting aliens. Now that I think on it, I'm wondering why there would be jet intakes if they were solely propeller/magic driven.

Because jet intakes are always useful, look at the kerbals. They can stick enough jet intakes on a plane to get it into almost-space! (and then half the time it runs out of air and gets stuck in orbit, but thats beside the point)

Gandalf, he's already fought something worse than a dubious headmaster.

Gandalf arrives three hours late to the duel, and then stabs Dumbledore to death. Only it turns out that this was part of Dumbly's plan all along, and they've been working together all along. Everybody wins!

Dumbledore is a splinter of Gandalf the Grey's personality and power that was flung off into another universe after he fought the Balrog. ;D

Also, a Maiar, bearer of Narya, versus an old man in a dress? Dumbledore is struck down by inanimate objects and a bald lich with a terrible selection of spells; Gandalf killed a fucking Balrog and all it did was force him to get a change of clothes from the elves.

Battlestar Galactica and Homeworld.
Which Homeworld? Are we talking "Just left Kharak burning behind us" Kushan refugees, post-Garden Kushan badasses, post-Regicide Kushan-Hiigaarans? Or are we talking Cataclysm or Homeworld 2-era Higaaran superpower? Because just about anything after the Garden would curbstomp Battlestars. Can you imagine what a group of Multi-Beam frigates would do to the Galactica, much less a full fleet group?
