She points at Bob.
"has been behaving makes me think that he would be a good test dummy. Now, let's see what needs to be done. Hmm..."

Michael felt a momenatary panic as she mentioned the practice dummy. No matter how much of a bastard the builder tended to be, him being roasted alive was not a good thing to be on the cards. Michael really hoped the builder wouldn't do anything rash. He waited for the lady to tell them what to do.

"Tecel DTera eh? I'll be sure to tell any local satanic cultists your name for summoning then. And Noble Lady, every Noble I've dealt with before has betrayed me, sometimes i've had to betray them before they could betray me. One time I was to get married to prevent a global war, but i had a feeling someone was going to attack me during the ceremony, so just before taking the vows, i started shooting everyone and you know what? They pulled out their guns! I told you, i can always tell when people are gonna betray me."

Orichalcum shrugs.

"I have learned not to complain about such things, even if I agree with that assessment.

As for me, well.. I was a professor of classical literature once. I suppose I am still good at telling stories, if I can remember them.

...Like the one about my name. You don't happen to know what Orichalcum means, do you? "

Teceli punches Bob in the face. She writes more on the floor with Bob's blood.

She can legibly write in English. Good to know.

Michael stares at the troll girl and Bob, then walks over and tries to nurse Bob.

Check to see if Bob's alright.

"I would ask you to stop using my blood for ink, but I know trying to reason with an alien demon spawn is just wasting my time. Also, do you have dyslexia or something? That "quirk" is like if someone handed an epileptic a keyboard and asked them to add captions to a flashing gif."

"You just got punched in the face, please don't move your mouth too much. Does it hurt?"

Michael lowered his voice.

"Listen, I need to tell you something... Can you lay off the 'I kill people for breakfast' schtick? I don't think she's playing games with those soldiers and none of us are armed..."

Sam looks at Bob for a second and considers saying something. He decides against it.

Michael looks at Teceli.

"Look, I can get why you're annoyed, but please, we're surrounded by armed guards, a fight is the last thing we need."

He looks at the guards in anticipation of them making a move.
