Adventure/DF mode tranfer?
« on: January 01, 2013, 11:17:42 pm »

This has probably already been covered so i apologize. I was wondering if a dwarf adventurer that I retired could potentially become a migrant in my DF mode games.

Yes. I've had my retired adventurers show up.

tip; don't retire legendary vampire-necromancer adventurers and start a fort unless you plan on having ‼fun‼

I have no idea where anything is. I have no idea what anything does. This is not merely a madhouse designed by a madman, but a madhouse designed by many madmen, each with an intense hatred for the previous madman's unique flavour of madness.

Thanks for the fast response. I'm guessing a vampire by itself would be ok. Necros would likely reanimate everything, which would probably be hostile i'm assuming  :D

or want to run a hermit fort where they kill and reanimate every one else.
Though Running a Vampire-Adventurer hermit fort is possibly the better of the two.

I would guess so. Migrants come from the host civ, so you'll have to retire at one of your civ's forts instead of a human town or committing suicide in the woods.
