I dunno, I never bother with the stuff. Unless it's literally the only thing available, and even then I usually just leave it lying around in my base.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

I just store it and later disassemble it and make actually useful ammunition out of it.

They're always like that.

'Cept mid and late game, in that case they are just mildly tough.

Yep. That's why I love insect mutagen. Pheromones.

Odd, I never have trouble with Mi-gos, even right out of the shelter.

Shocker brutes, though. I built a small catapult consisting of an extra-light frame, Slingshot Cannon, and controls. Wheeled(not really, no wheels) it up to a brute, and fired an inferno canister at it. Direct hit. It kept coming, surviving several turns in the blaze. I started to panic a little after it left the blaze, since the only weapon I had was a survivor machete. Then it collapsed. One turn later, the fire went out.

... Yes, the hugs are for everyone.  No stabbing, though.  Just hugs.

Just an FYI to Glyph, the link on the front page is currently broken. Looks like it just needs an "en." at the front.

Gryph is actually on a self imposed exile from Bay12, and it looks unlikely that he will be coming back.

Shnip.

I really want to see this now. If alien factions evolve over time, will the human ones also change? I'd love to see them colonize cities.

I'd imagine so. I mean, the factions already have things like wanting to restore civilization, specializations in bionics, worshipping the fungus or what-have-you, so it's only logical that bionic specialists would eventually be able to break out squads of Adam Jensens of the Wastes, fungal cultists get marloss mutants and the like. Army would probably be a bit weird progression-wise, getting first one-man Spec Ops scouts, then 'downgrade' to regular soldiers in squads, then Bionic Soldiers and Voluntary Mutant Troops.

I actually sent him a message about that a while back, and his response came down to (to paraphrase), "I'm not coming back, make a new thread if you need to".

That said if need be we can always make a new thread (and heck, we can probably do it to commemorate the .C release, which is tentatively set for sometime next weekend.)
