And being bitten (Stereotypical zombie apocalypse stuff.)  Hurts less in the game then in most movies and stuff.

In other news, it seems that jabberwocks absolutely love me.
I've been attacked twice by them in 10 games. So much pain.
EDIT: I'm apparently megaman/samus now. I have a fusion blaster on my left arm.

Same here. :P

I will note that jabberwocks were not supposed to be this common. In the current dev version they've been nerfed down to about 1-2 per overmap, instead of one ever 300 forest tiles.

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!

Holy shit this game grew a pair of balls. Seriously, I started three characters and all of them were gangraped by a zombie dog/hulk combo.

Scavenging in the city definitely seems a lot more dangerous now, good work on that. It still pisses me off that I can't at least plunder the houses on the outskirts of town without getting brutalized.

You should be able to sneak in under the cover of darkness. Unlock the doors with lockpick or, maybe, a crowbar. Close doors and windows before turning on light. Only use melee weapons, preferrably indoors. Avoid causing noise. Get out while safe.

Or alternatively, run around laughing like a maniac, jumping in and out of houses and setting them on fire.

That gets you caught and killed by zombie dogs.

Although, you do start with a pair of jeans with a t-shirt and a pocket knife. Maybe you could turn them into rags and light a rag behind you for each zombie dog so that they burn themselves to death?

John Jones is a crazed, streaking survivor, running from house to house with his fleet-footed parkour skills, grabbing whatever food and clothes he can in an attempt to incinerate the living dead. Bonus points for grabbing alcohol and turning it into molotovs on the run. If he gets Road Runner from drinking mutagen, all the better.

I've found this actually works quite well.

How do you get out of cars now?

Edit: Figured it out! It's ^, thought I was pressing that when I was really pressing 6.

Actually, you get out of cars by stepping out of them. ^ just gives you the option to let go of the controls. This is an important difference.

I suggest not letting go of the controls whilst at full pelt down a street.
Has unfortunate consequences.

As a suggestion, have the game run a few ticks after death, so the player can see the after effects of what catastrophically stupid thing he did that earnt his death. =]

Quick question- Is it possible to enable cruise control at the speed of zero, and then jump out of the car before it's speed gets too high?
