What does taping up windows do?
Simply block line of sight and a SLIGHT slow down on zombie i guess

You might aswell close the curtains then :/

It also reduces the scent that passes through I believe. Better for a one night shelter then curtains, worse than boarding.

The moment we get A levels, I'm demanding a cutback.  And the ability to construct a watch tower.
I hate my phones spell checking thing.  I hate it.  Anyway, will we be able to get jetpacks once levels are sorted out?  And what skill does "To Serve Man" raise, or is it just a morale raising book?

It teaches you how to prepare delicious dishes from long pork.

acid rain

Especially with the new weather forecast changes, I don't think this is a good long-term solution. But I agree, having more cover (and zombies that regenerate as fast as the rain does damage) would certainly be nice to put in before considering having it cause damage.

Although this SERIOUSLY messes with the lore I've been working on! :P

Well depending on how much pain acid rain gives it might still be pretty damn deadly.

So no more acid rain cleaning up streets of garbage?

Is there any source of salty water? Because it would be great for long-term meat conservation.

There are boxes of salt and bottle of salt water. They are needed for meat jerky.

Yeah, I knew that, but there is not a renewable source? I want to stock huge amounts of jerky.

I think canning is supposed to take its place as far as long term goes.

doesn't matter too much though as crafting with meat is still bugged so year old rotting chunks of meat when cooked are delicious fresh cooked meat.
