Does my personal radiation decrease over time or do I need Iodine?

It should go down over time, but you'll probably want iodine tablets.
What with all the mutations you'll get otherwise.

I have the next video up. Question, how does sleep work. I end with not being able to sleep and was wondering if its just something I have to try until I do since I don't have a bed or something?

Edit: I just realized that I have never gotten past the first day...

So it seems I accidentally put my canteen in my wheelbarrow and didn't notice... and then I got really thirsty... so right before going to sleep I go to take a swig from my canteen and... end up snorting a line of low-grade meth.

I think the success of sleeping and how uninterrupted it is depends on a number of factors, including what you're trying to sleep on (floor, bed, cot, tent, rollmat, etc), how cold you are, if there's noise nearby (thunder storms), effects from drugs, and then on traits/weaknesses. I can't provide any of the specific numbers though, sorry. Basically if you can't fall asleep on the freezing concrete basement floor, just keep trying until the sun rises. You'll probably get a few minutes of it.. maybe enough to heal some flesh wounds.

I remember taking asthma on all of my characters during the whales era, but eventually I stopped bothering with the trait since it kept my survivors awake at night. Looks like inhaler charges were dropped to 20 as well. Probably a good balance change, asthma was pretty easy to deal with aside from the annoying sleep interruptions.

...After restocking my water stocks by boiling water and filling 15 bottles request that a repeat craft command be implemented and/or a quantity prompt for crafts that often gets crafted in mass, supposedly ammo, arrows, foods & water. For the prompt, have the code identify identical items, quantity excluded, and repeat the action.

No the future just has super-asthma to deal with.  It gets so bad that a miniature black hole forms in your windpipe.

Naturally, the dosage amount must be increased significantly to cope.

I blame the roving bands of scientists. They sneak into towns at night inhaling all of the albuterol they can find. If they see zombies, they drop it and run, thus 1/5 full inhalers everywhere. The reason you find dead bands of scientists is because they ran out and had one massive, collective asthma attack (and/or died fighting over their remaining albuterol).

Admittingly it Greigar could be onto something.

Perhaps the poluted air is so bad for your lungs that asthma injectors are set to a rather high dose.

Nah, the board of health decided that asthmatics had too much of an advantage over other people that they had to reduce the number of charges to keep them on par normal people.

Edit, checking all the 50 differnt passwords I generally use fixed it.

I just played this for the first time, it's quite fun. I tried to go for a crazed swordsman-type character as a sort of test run, but I found guns almost immediately (both a well-stocked gun shop and a gun storage shelter in someone's basement- I had a Mossberg, a pistol, and a G36!) and never any decent cutting weapons. I also realized how SUPER OP guns are, even with the noise factor. I got about 55 kills and was searching for food on my second day (with food being ridiculously scarce in this town!) and this happened:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Well... I managed to kill about 20 of them, and I actually though I had a chance at winning, but I severely underestimated both the zombie necromancer (which ended up raising many of the 50 zombies I had killed in the same area back to life) and the zombie brute (which killed me in one hit at light green health.) Moral of the story: RUN!

I love playing "crazy sword man", but it's often more of an impromptu decision because if I'm going to take on zombies with a cutting weapon, it will be in heavy armor and with a broadsword. No exceptions (well maybe a large wood axe would work as well). Plate armor and broadswords do actually spawn in this game, but I've only ever found them at the entrance to mansions. They don't spawn all the time, not sure how rare they are. After discovering that I made a template specifically designed for swordplay in heavy armor, but I just couldn't find any more decorative armor stands. I think I tried about 5 worlds before giving up.

It sure is fun though when it happens. Your survivor may have once been destined to read all of the books, but now he is a knight! You certainly take a lot of hits while wearing plate and swinging a sword, it's slow. But.. surprisingly effective. You don't take much damage from the starting zombies, enough is mitigated so that you can take on 4+ at a time without much danger. Special zombies? Didn't get that far. I got carried away and burned to death in a gas station.
