We need to find out if Marna's brother has an heir. If he doesn't, ask our steward if we'd be next in line to inherit his land if we were his brother-in-law. Time to get our scheme on!

I think it could undermine our potential romancing.

We still get a kick out of her. It's just a bonus.

is it a bonus if she happens to talk to our steward and he spills the beans accidentally or not?

and yeah its a nice bonus, but if the bonus is there wont depend on our scheming or not ;)

Dude, this is how medieval "romance" works! That we liked her first and then figured out how we could benefit from the marriage is actually totally backwards. Marriages were a tool to advance your social/political standing (for both people, and their families).

Speaking of families... what happened to ours? Where are our parents? Do we have any siblings?

Good question, and better yet, from where do we originate?

We are like a DF adventurer, we spawn from thin air in the nearest town, getting heavily involved in wars, politics, and  death

We came from a peasant family. I bet our parents didn't want us to go to war.

And you never supported my decision.....

Finishing touches on watermill, Complete mine with the new flood of people coming in it should be easier to find miners and get some working stone and ore up, Build a bigger warehouse, extending down as much as you do out adding a basement level and reinforcing walls doors and locks.

I support this and weapons training. Attempt to ensure everything runs smoothly.

This is the suggestion for this month.

Having our lowborn relatives hanging around would be a disadvantage to us politically though, just so you guys know.

I know. That's why I never actually advocated that.

...You probably weren't talking to me.

A sickness swept our small village leaving few untouched! Bereft of friend and family we enlisted in the conscripted forces! (Oxymoron? Maybe)
