Adam tries to move the dead man in the corner of a room but the moment he thugs the corpse off the chair it bubbles into a mushy pulp of rotten, juicy flesh. Well so much for that. Adam pulls out a tiny cable that extends from his PDA and introduces it into one of the main computer slots then begins tapping away at the PDA. After few minutes he reckons he is able to send vocal messages to the Sekmeth Central HQ. He can also access the recent history of camera recordings in this general area.
Jerald struggles to keep his meal down but in the end splashes it all over the inside of the helmet. Visor covered in nasty leftovers, he searches the broken radios for usable parts. He manages to scavenge a perfectly fine radio antenna and a pair of battery-less walkie-talkies.

Ignis fiddles around with the found helmet and manages to balance it atop the one he is wearing. He grabs one of the mineral bags and pulls it out the warehouse before hollering. Rex hears Ignis and turns his head, quickly noticing the shiny gray material. He has no idea what it is either, doesn't look like any mineral Rex's ever seen before. Dubnus is awfuly quiet, probably slightly uneasy with the situation. He notices an eerie cloud formation coming in from the east.

Draw my rifle.

"I don't like this, it's to quiet we should of seen somebody by now. Or at least some sign of what happened here. It's almost as if the entire population got up and left without taking anything with them."

Get the fuck in the Pimpwagon, and drive away from the cloud as fast as possible. If it persists, get into a building.

Tell him to hurry the hell up, I've seen enough horror-holos to know what clouds do to people in abandoned cities.

"Aw, man, now Bliz is going to be complaining about not getting a flaregun all the way back..."

Follow the others back. When I'm in a nice, breathable atmosphere, switch which helmet I'm waering and which I'm balancing. Get partway through this task before realizing I left ore behind.

"...You're right, Bliz! Oh, my. I hope this isn't some dumb game where not picking everything up means you can't win..."

Dubnus grabs his assault rifle and hops onto the backseat of the rider, still staring at the rushing cloud. Jerald tinkers about with the suit's function and manages to find the moisturize settings. The suit helmet  sprays a thin vaporous cloud inside and the vomit is drained out a small tube at the side of the neck. The smell persists however. Ignis drags himself and one of the mineral bags out of the warehouse before seeing the cloud roaring closer. At this point he rushes at the buggy and jumps into it, entirely forgetting the back in the rush of adrenaline and ready to blaze away once Adam returns from the guard building.

On the recordings the city seems to be as joyful and normal as any colonial city, beside, you know, being in the middle of sandy nowhere. The citizen have Water Purifying interfaces and Synthetic Water Generators. That can't be the problem. The recordings continue with the casual day to day life inside the walls. Adam speeds the recording up to the point where he sees a glitch showing up outside the walls. As if that section doesn't move accordingly to everything around it. The distortion flashes closer and closer until it clashes into the city. It whips through the protection bubble until it engulfs the city whole. At this point the cameras see just black before flickering completely dead. Adam manages to rip the small memory disk out it's slot for further investigation once safe.

He bolts out through the door, toppling over. He crawls up into the buggy, noticing a black silhouette coming from the direction of the clouds.

WHERE SHALL THE TECHNICIANS DRIVE OR WHAT SHALL THEY DO ? [East - Cloud ; South - Desert ; North - The Sekmeth Central HQ ; West - The Mines ]

Aim towards the silhouette.

"I'd suggest we head for the HQ, we'll probably find some records in it and maybe some clues as to what happened here."

Jerry rig one of the walkie talkies with the radio antenna and the car power to make a makeshift radio, use my 5DS as a wireless interface for the device
"Lets go to HQ too, Hey Adam let me see that disk i think my Sintendo can read those"
