Swing by the guard building just to make sure the other 2 guys are ok.

Since my question was never answered, I'll assume I'm in the city.

Scrounge for supplies.

"Yes, Bliz, a flare gun would be useful; no, it wouldn't be that good a weapon. See, flares aren't designed to be weapons, so they're not good at it. Also, since you're supposed to look away from the flare when firing it, accuracy is terrible. Maybe if I could find one with those shell-flares...but other things would be more useful. Like a new friend for you!"

After careful consideration Adam decides that the guard could be better armed than him, thus he tries to draw his attention. Adam lets out a guttural cough. The guard doesn't even flinch. "Sir." mouths Adam. Again, no response. Slightly frustrated Adam walks up to the man and taps the him on the shoulder, slightly spinning the chair. The man's face is similar to an overgrown cancerous tumor and his chest is flayed right open, intestines being feed on by flies and tiny beetles.
Jerald takes a screwdriver out his toolbox and unscrews the bolts holding the cargo box closed. The cover snaps under pressure and Jerald takes the full force of the impact to the head. He is knocked off his feet, grasping the quite massive dent mark in his helmet. Damn, that visor is tough. After regaining his composure Jerald notices the grim content of the cargo box. Corpses upon corpses, flesh blackened and rippled with holes.

Rex turns the keys into ignition and the car lets out satisfying engine roar. Rex swings by the guarding building but not before leaving Ignis in front of a small warehouse like building. Ignis easily opens the makeshift door and skulks around in search of resources. The only thing useful he finds is a small mining helmet with incorporated flashlight and four bags of gray, shiny minerals.

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

"Yeah, but this is better than nothing...Probably, yes. I'll ask some of the people what kind of ore they think it is...Why would it be gold?"

Take helmet and a bag or two. Don helmet and leave warehouse.

"HEY GUYS, WHAT KIND OF ORE IS THIS??"

Who said I was taking off my other helmet?
"But GreatWyrmGold, the helmet won't fit on the helmet."
Who ever said Ignis was sane? He doesn't care. He'll balance the other helmet on his first one.
