I still don't read fanfic.
Yeah, you're only making a collaborative Battlestar Galactica (AU, Improv) one over in Play with your Buddies :P

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

The problem with getting something 'wrong' on the internet is that it's difficult to apologize properly (plus the fact that you often get gangbanged with "WHAT THE HELL R U DOING???" all at once when the person didn't really know he was doing something wrong.)

Your only option on the webs is really to say 'sorry'. This means a surprising amount if done sincerely, but IMO it means more when you can see somebody's repentant face which truly carries the veracity of their emotion, and / or you can say "Look, I'll get you a present / something at personal cost to myself to make up for it."

Real Life Example : Friend cancels a night out on me, I blow my top far more than justified, see him again next week, say sorry, sound sorry, appear with his favourite thing, beer, re-affirm fact he is best friend, all is well.

Hence why people may think a self - imposed exile is the best form of 'making up' for a mistake they made - there's not much else they can do. It makes sense to me at least.

It has somehow never occurred to me before that RP in established settings could be considered fanfic. Woah.

In any case - to those saying the forums would've accepted this happily a few years ago - I think you might be thinking of VN. And I for one have no wish to see anything like it back on the forums. And as smug as I'm sounding right now - I knew the shipping thing would end in tears. RL shipping is just creepy.

Various Nonesense, where all the OT stuff used to go before Toady nuked it.

I'd like to apologize for being the owner of the thread where this started. At the time I had no idea WTH people were talking about, but had I known, I would have told them to knock that shit off before it became a thing that someone thought would make a good thread.

Hey everyone, I just thought I'd share some Chinese shipping I glanced over today. There were a lot of ropes involved.

Gray Container/Red Container is the best.

I'd tell you my favourite pairings, but it's hard to distinguish colours with the rarely sailed ships.
