The only reason that Gamble is being savvy at all is because other people have mentioned things, he's just putting the pieces together from what other people have said and drawing conclusions from there.  I will try to tone it down if you think he's putting too much together though

Well this mist isn't something that's happened before. (If it did, I'm pretty sure it'd be something all of you would know about.) As far as anyone in the group can really guess - (And this is only the magic users such as yourself) - It's some sort of powerful, shadow magic.

Wendell was running away from it, and he encountered some stuff in it.

He also worked with mercs and traveling, maybe establishing camps.

So he'll have some experience with that stuff, but he's mainly the sniper and hunter guy.

Or the tracker guy.

You don't have any empty pouches, or inventory space at all for that matter.

Its sticks, I can't tuck them into my waistband or something?

Guess this works anyway, do I need inventory space to carry something and put it down?

I know from experience in Modieval that you can carry random stuff around as a weapon. But Modieval has two sets of weapons it allows you which this doesn't, so it's not really an option right now.

Well yes, you can carry something if you have a free hand. (Or both hands if it's something large.)
There isn't really a point in collecting stuff while traveling though, you're in a forest - There are going to be sticks no matter where you decide to stop.

I suppose I would have to have a fishing rod to try and catch some of the fish.  Is it possible for Gamble to make one that won't snap in half at the first bite?  Not necessarily now, but for future reference.
