Fit an arrow to my bow and keep an eye on the zombies in case they notice us, follow Varkhal.

"We should wait until the undead move a little away and try to walk to the barn door, only attacking if they come for us, since we should avoid trouble."

"And there is always the risk the stable may have undead horses, so we should stay wary."


Draw Arbalest and start to move slowly towards the barn, preferentially waiting until the zombies have shambled away from it.

"The barn offers us an elevated position as well, they don't seem to move anywhere near as well as they did when they were alive so maybe they will not be able to climb and we can thin them out safely."

The zombies are very slow with their wandering, not straying far from where you originally spotted them, so the group carefully and slowly advances towards the Barn.

Unfortunately, the zombies around the barn soon spot them, and begin shambling towards the group - quite obviously now hostile.
Fortunately, they're very slow compared to the Wolves and Horses that had been previously encountered.
Whether or not you've alerted any undead besides the three in sight is a mystery, but hopefully they aren't intelligent enough to find you through the behaviour of the nearest zombies.
