Goldfinch with an engineer crew. All right.
---
The IS-M/F Goldfinch's main engine began it's start-up sequence as a bunch of scientist-looking men and women, most of the men with beards and everyone carrying enough tools to build a starship between them. You boarded and quickly found the helm, and prepared for your first jump.
Powered from the main station yo were at, you'd be flung into space at light speed without using any fuel, at first. The Goldfinch didn't have a jump drive, meaning you'd need to get one if you wanted to do any serious travelling into the unknown.
Bracing yourself for the impossible, you feel a great push against you, a flash, and... that was it? Looking out of the window, you see that you're in a completely new area. Your map records it as the Derako system, which was on the edge of known exploration and relatively uncharted- there were planets that had no real data. You landed in the inner area, near three planets and within visible distance of Derako's binary star.
After doing a basic scan of all the planets in range, you find:
Planet 1: Nameless, Uninhabited
Scans show that this planet has great amounts of tin ore, silicon.
Scans show that this planet has an acceptable environment and atmosphere for humans.
Planet 2: Nameless, Uninhabited
Scans show that this gas giant has an extremely high temperature and is made of 78% Argon, 7% Helium, 13% Chlorine.
Planet 3: Hali, Inhabited by Humans, Gavri
Has a jump station and trading bays. The Gavri are small but intelligent fur-covered creatures, with advanced society. They easily learned the human tongue and often work with them now, for mutual benefit. They breathe nitrogen, which requires a special suit on Hali, but works well on Earth.
Mining is restricted on Hali. You need a license.
