Well, quite an eventful adventure.  I realize that my abilities put me a bit closer to danger than I am capable of surviving.  I will have to remember to stick with someone who can keep me alive whilst I disrupt the enemy.  On the bright side though, my abilities proved themselves worth while.

The issue with Osoero was a mess.  Apparently, I do not know the full story.  All I saw was a little irresponsible use of magic, but others deemed it the "last straw" and put him through disciplinary action.  I believe I will no longer be seeing him again.  I wonder if there is a way for me to check and see if I can utilize some of his tools?  definitely couldn't hurt.

The Baron we were after is currently being cared for by the best clerics and priestesses we have.  I wonder what information he could have?  Personally, I can't wait to find out.

Today was an... eventful day.

We found the lair of the ants, and oddly enough, didn't fight a single one of them. They were apparently laying siege to some nobles who were holed up in part of the cave system. We broke that up in fairly short order. Mental notes: practice pickpocketing, and ware spellcasters. One of them cast Slow on me. That was the very height of annoyance. I'm just lucky there weren't more hostiles near me when he did.

Lawbringer, and the others near him at the time, weren't so lucky. The Warlock finally managed to activate his Wand of Confusion in combat, eliminating the threat from a small pocket of the enemies... and making Lawbringer hostile. It was an honest mistake, he seems to have thought that it was a single-target type spell, but that mistake was the straw that broke the camel's back. Harsh words were said, threats were made (during combat), and in the end I knocked the little fucker unconscious and Ossir cut his hands off. It was gruesome to watch, but I have to admit to myself that I took some satisfaction in it. Osoero will awaken to find himself in jail. I doubt he'll sit there quietly, but at least I don't have to worry about him ruining my stealth by shouting.

My practice with the shadows has paid off, today. It took two tries to get it right, but during my combat high I devised a new way to manipulate the shadows. It's a lot like the missile I could already use, but more focused. I can't shoot nearly as far with it, though. I did finish off one of the nobles with it, though, knocking him unconscious, so I've proved it works. I just need to practice using it, I keep twitching when I try to discharge the concentrated shadows.

I confused myself with my exp total a bit today. "Where's the exp from last session, I'm still listed with less tha- Oh. Right. We're still in the same fight."

This had me cracking up for 30 solid seconds. All I can imagine is one camel awkwardly jumping (the only way camels know how) on top of another, with hilarious and terrible repercussions.

So, you guys knocked out Oso, cut off his hands and threw him in jail? I missed that. Also, how many enemies were left once I was gone?

On a side note, if you guys got any more grenades, could you spare two for Jan?

How much exp did everyone get? And loot?

Two other things. One, even if Oso did go to prison, considering his way with words, his intelligence, the circumstances, and the part where it was supposedly only monetary and he still had a lot of money, those bars...how much do they weigh? And his hands can be Restored. The reason I say this? It would be interesting, and somewhat fitting for the way this campaign seems to be themed, if he became a recurring villain.

Secondly, new char is a dwarves barbarian who dual wields dwarves war axes.

Say, how many grenades did that lady have with her? The one Eosri looted?

Eosri got a +2 short bow during the encounter that has no additional magical properties besides counting as a magical weapon for the purposes of defeating DR. Also, 4 grenades were in the pouch stolen.

The collective looting gains from the people downed:

+2 Longbow x 1
25 grenades of the design perfected by Lady Distinda
4 CO2 grenades
