Web:  So votes are actually votes for the king of the day?  When deadline/hammer hits, is there a time for the winner to choose?

Leaf's flip is weird, because that's a very townie role.

MrCelt:  What's your excuse for a blatant bandwagon hammer on Urist I?

Hapah:  Your case wasn't much better.  Who do you suspect now and why?

Tylui:  What I said against you yesterday still applies.

Isn't it hilarious that the death of King coincides with the institution of democracy?

Wuba: Is the system change for one day only? How much time will the elected guy have to choose whom to lynch? Will we be able to change votes once they are cast or are they set in stone? What happens on a tie?

I am suspicious that no town died last night, but I haven't played a BYOR in what feels like forever either.

Isn't it hilarious that the death of King coincides with the institution of democracy?
Yes, it is.

Also yeah, do we vote who we want elected in red?  I wouldn't mind myself, Toaster, or Bookthras.

Leaf's flip is weird, because that's a very townie role.
No argument there. But with a role like that "Town/NonTown results instead of a straight Town/Scum/SK/whatever" I think I could see why he leaned on UI so hard, at least. What kind of Cops/Inspects do BYOR's usually have, or does it vary wildly?

What if I run on a platform of promising less bad stuff and more good stuff? Seems to work for the folks in office.

On a more serious note, what do you think Mr. Celt is?

I'll try to fit that reread Saturday.

Voting System Changed to Public Forum Debate!

Players publicly choose a representative who then chooses whom to lynch.
So ... do we choose this representative in red?  Do we have to choose before day end, or does the person with the highest number of votes at day end become the rep?  If we don't chose a rep is it the same as a no-lynch?  PPE: Okay, not the first to ask, but still need to know.

Looking at Leafsnail's role, I ponder whether it's safe to assume we have a higher than average number of third-party roles in this game.  Or oh god we have a cult.  Or both.

Also having a "no one dies during this phase" power on scum makes me think there's a few killing roles about.  Or webadict was really fucking with Leafsnail.

Hey Bookthras, what do you think about the theory that scum will often FoS their scumbuddy and vote someone non-scum?

If nothing else, Wuba nailed the role when it was submitted. It's called Conspiracy Theorist, after all.

You seem to be exceptionally upset at Mr.Celt.

Shakerag: Are you voting Bookthras as king or as lynchee?

Bookthras: I noticed you claimed miller again. Why did you choose to do so this time?

On a more serious note, what do you think Mr. Celt is?
Mafia. Mostly for his sudden hammer, which contradicts what he says here.
What I don't like is the bandwagon on UI, he claimed survivor, yes, and while that may be detrimental to town in the future, there are many other things we should focus on instead of lynching someone who's only win condition is not to be lynched.

Going to go ahead and put my vote on Urist Imiknorris. While I don't think Leaf smells like roses (though I'm having trouble following the different cases against him), lynching a Survivor (or potentially worse) isn't a bad move. He's an unreliable ally at best and a scum asset (or some hostile 3rd party) at worst.
For this reason, Urist Imiknorris..
MrCelt: This...Alright, I understand you're a newbie.  However, even taking that into account, this is the single worst vote I have ever seen in any Mafia game.  (Well, not counting those in the cesspool that is EpicMafia) (OH MY GOD JACK USES PUNCTUATION LYNCH HIM)
You hammered a guy with your entire reasoning being "What Hapah said."  This, of course, almost immediately after saying that...well...
What I don't like is the bandwagon on UI, he claimed survivor, yes, and while that may be detrimental to town in the future, there are many other things we should focus on instead of lynching someone who's only win condition is not to be lynched.
...you don't like the bandwagon on UI.  Not just that, but that you actually disagree completely with the argument that you used to kill UI.  Explain.

Tylui: I still, quite strongly, want an answer to my question.
