Okay, I've loaded the save.

HOW THE FUCK DID YOU MANAGE TO GET SO BAD SO QUICKLY!? There's something called a High Lord Threadomancer flying around, breathing fire, and fighting with the undead he raises. There are random statues scattered all over as if by a bomb and the surface is on fire. Wait, that isn't the surface, that's underground, the entire level was carved out. There's an unbuilt fortress out front with a partially dug out moat. Corpses lay everywhere, among them my zombie's body. My body and my arm have their own separate names! Strangely, despite the necromancers, there are no undead around but ghosts. We must have killed the last, me, right before the new year.

In stockpiles, well-made adamantine armor lies next to superior copper armor and grown wood armor. This fort has reached adamantine and it's only year 4. We have magma forges but no actual forges - it looks like we were chased out by magma crabs. Stuff is just scattered everywhere, placed wherever there was room. There's an eternally flaming amulet spewing smoke. Coffins are everywhere.

Our dwarves are children, wounded, or wounded children. Or dead, don't forget dead. Every single forumite is stressed and horrified at seeing everyone they know and love die. We have one doctor, Sprin, and he's much better as a legendary swordsforumite. Despite several legendaries, the miltary is still in shambles. We don't have the forumites to spare. We have 7 workers, 7 military, and 26 children and wounded.

After he burned everyone to death, the High Lord ressurected them. But he doesn't get along with the corpses he resurrects. So he started fighting them.

Even in death, Necrothreader Slayer saved us all.

We're down to ten dwarves - 5 civilians, 5 military.

Okay, so now that the chaos is over, I've possessed the gem cutter. It's a woman. Of course.

We need several things. Coffins for one, we need to bury our dead. The ghosts are becoming a problem. Another thing is barrels, our food is rotting in the butcher's shop. We also need more dwarves, but with a siege outside and our oldest child is eight.

I've made Talvi a doctor and she patched up our dwarves. Now all our dwarves can work. I've made a few dwarves masons and we've started making coffins. Myself included. I also made someone a carpenter and they made enough barrels to store everything we have in.

I've designated a dumping area and begun dumping the ridiculous amounts of junk we've collected into the magma. It's slow going, as it's a long walk, there's a lot of junk, and we only have 5 dwarves to do everything.

I've ordered the reconstruction of the forges, but I don't know what I'm going to do with them yet. They're mainly just to seal the holes in the floor.

Most dwarves are buried now and almost all the ghosts are gone, besides the ones with bodies that have burned away. I haven't started slabbing ghosts yet.

I am once again just a soul. I have a choice to make. Should I continue to be the benevolent guiding force, even after being slain in cold blood by one I tried to help? Should I destroy those who destroyed me, take vengeance for wrongs done against me? Or should I simply do nothing, and leave the fortress to its own devices? I must think on this a while...
