I was going to try to do a abomination myself... However since you seems so good at it (and way better than me), I will give my idea to you...

A "Ball of Oozing Rotten Flesh"... It's blood is actually pus, and it causes a syndrome, which creates nasty effects of local pain, local paralysis, local blisters and local necrosis... In a way not so severe actually, however, the same syndrome causes the "cursed" to turn into a "Ball of Oozing Rotten Flesh" after some time (maybe tuned down to not AWAYS happen, so to prevent total BORF (Ball of Oozing Rotten Flesh) spirals), also, the creature's only attack (Besides the hard-coded 'push') is to spit the same pus it is filled with.

I personally would only code such things as residents of the hell.

Thank you for that info, I didn't realize that, also I solved the "toad" thing, by looking at the error log, it seems I had not defined a caste for the transformation, and so I am left to assume that when it doesn't know what to turn something into, it defaults to a toad...for...some reason...

If only I knew how to do afflictions in the raws, I would have been doing that way sooner than now. (like making "zombie armies that are immune to pain and are fire proof")

Chuck Norris can now effectively kill anything, as if its something he cant kill, he can turn it into a rabbit, and then kill it.

Toad's the first creature in the raws if you goes down the ABC order in reading creature raws. First entry of creature_amphibians.txt

I've seen some people theorize that it's because of Almighty Toady as a joke :D

I think it's the same thing with weird alchemy of things into iron when materials aren't specified since it's inorganic_metal.txt which's first reference to materials and iron's the first entry.

On ANOTHER side note, why does punching a wambler with all the force of something far stronger than adamantine and 5000 strength causing it to crash into a stone wall not make it explode instantly?

Getting bored, I spawned an ardvark by the lava in arena, turned it into a wambler, and punted it at the lava, it skipped across the lava for about 10 squares (like a tossed stone) before finally sinking and melting, but this was taking forever, so i proceeded to kick it around under lava for a while, got tired of this, and pinched its head off.

(it probably took so long to die because of the fact that this guy has speed of 10k by default (above or below water) meaning i got like 100 turns before they got even one, and thus i was moving so fast it took forever (from my perspective) for them to die)

I did that on only one, and wondered how it survived the impact, and proceeded to beat the "pudge" out of it. I have determined that they can't die from blunt damage, as they have no organs other than this "pudge" stuff, which doesn't seem to be very vital, though it will bruise, (one hit to any part of them by me makes it blue light blue) and their limbs dont seem to go flying off when i kick them with the force of eight freight trains, probably because they are so small that the force just sends THEM flying, rather than part of them.

Additionally, after checking the wiki, I found out that that message happens when enough blunt force to cause instant death is applied to the lower body
