There are actual characters that dont have their own movie, but every movie thats on the same main character has the same minor characters.

I'd be like Genie getting a movie without Alladin, even though he did get an episode or two in the tv series just for him being the focus character...

If there is a character that doesnt get a tv episode to be important if not a movie, I'd like to make them my favorite disney character...

Well, given how bad I've heard it had gotten at Lucasarts in regard to making a profit, that might have actually been the only sensible thing for Disney to do. I mean, licensing the games out to other companies means they still get made right?

They intend to release a new film each year, one the new trilogy, one standalone, according to newserama, and apparently multiple other sources. I don't want to have either the taxing of resources, quality dip, or decreasing of effect and status as an event that would have.

Also, remember that now we've run out of original trilogy to stop any ridiculous stuff that would make those three movies pointless. All we have to hold up the quality post-Ep.VI (or pre-Ep.I) is a whole ton of books and the occasional game or comics.
