Aseaheru apparently has found a decent one, but the title is still up for grabs.  A vote will be held.

I don't like the idea of modded races. If we do modded races, then we start to mod other things. I think we shouldn't mod anything, and play with aquifers on. It's already a challenge, why not make it a fun one?

You change your OWN pop cap in the int files, it's not part of world gen

Never done a hermit fort before, sounds like an interesting experiment.

Okay then, are you alright with people being able to add [CIV_CONTROLLABLE] to the elves, humans, goblins, etc.?

And making them playable straight like that? sure. I just don't want to end up with some people modding the game to make it easier.

Why not add extra Fun?
And no slippery-sloping, it's an annoying fallacy.

How about modding the game to let you play elves or goblins? Between lacking various industries they'll need and the entities not having certain vital nobles...

The mods below would solve that problem.

Goblins - http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=4785

Aw, but it's one of my favorites, along with the straw man.

We could, but if anyone wishes to play as a race other than dwarves, I would like to have that be an option.

In fact.  I have a feeling that we should post which race you would want to be during this.  I, personally, would prefer to play as a Human Hermit.

I guess I'll be an elf, since I doubt anyone else will want to be one, plus I find it fun to try to play a game without digging at all.
