So it's ten in the morning and we've hopefully gotten rid of most of the zombies in the area, there should hopefully be fewer zombies around the school, and maybe even fewer ones in the school. Either way if we want to take it we're going to have to make an assault, so I send Tracy, and Lucus to attack with machetes first to save on ammo, while Kelli cooks up some food (we're starting to get hungry here). This is the point where I realise I made another mistake.
Where's the flashlight?

Tracy and Lucus assault the school.
There's one.
They strike down one zombie up close outside. Then look through the windows.Still seems to be plenty in there, we're going to have to come back with guns if we want to shoot them out.
Back at the store.Hmmm, ok Lucus you head back there and take some out.
12:00 PMNot much to say, he heads over there, sees a bunch of zombies snipes six of them with the high powered rifle. We've nearly thinned the place down though. I think I'll send Kelli in to give it a shot.
Ok, I'm done cooking, and there was
just enough left to feed everyone, but now I think it's time I tried showing you all how it's done, give me the rifle.
It's just about out of ammo.
Fine, I'll do this with a shotgun then.

Kelli attacked the location, she closed in for close combat and killed one zombie, then she shot three through the windows.Ok, I think we're ready for this. It's time we took that school.
We travel pretty light, leaving most of our gear at the store, we take a little medicine, the machetes, a few tools, a double-barreled shotgun (Kristopher made it, did I mention that yet?), a handgun, and the high powered rifle.
2:00 PM
The team breaks into the school through a second story window. There was a small mob outside, but not many zombies inside the school.Huh, I guess we did thin them down a lot. This looks like it should be pretty easy now.
3:00 PM
The team continued to clear the school, most of the fighting took place in the office... Kelli sliced a zombie's head with a machete. Tracy blasted one with a recoilless handgun, Lucus shot a zombie's head with a shotgun after blasting it's leg.I think we cleared everything... though there's a hell of a lot of corpses here.

Ok, so I thought I heard someone running around in the hallway, I went to check it out and I found this rifle sitting there. I swear it wasn't there before.
Maybe you just didn't notice it, I mean we're all sort of tired, it happens.
No it's... We didn't bring this thing, and I swear something that wasn't us left it there, and I didn't see it...
So what, you're saying this place is haunted.

Yeah, never in recorded history have we ever heard of the dead coming back to bother living before. I mean, surely there'd be signs, like... dead people walking the streets maybe?
Zombies are one thing, ghosts are another. I don't believe it.

DUN DUN DUN! ... Anyway, I kind of do hope it's a ghost.

It'd give us a little variety, I'd like something that just wants to spook us instead of trying to murder us and eat our delicious, cholesterol full, brains.

Right. I'm going to search this place for some ghosts... Lucus you keep watch, everyone else clear out the corpses. I don't like having so many bodies around, one of them might get up and try to take a bite out of me.

The team swiftly finishes clearing out all the corpses, meanwhile Kristopher searches the sickbay and finds some splints and pain killers.That's that job done.
I'm starting to get worried about the zombies outside.
You and Kelli can go out and try to take care of them then. Tracy can help me search, Nichole you're on watch again.
Naturally.
5:00 PMSo... You believe in ghosts?
I dunno, I sure as hell believe in zombies... and there was something in there in that hallways that wasn't us... Might just be someone screwing with us. Maybe they were hiding in the school when we got there.
Wouldn't the zombies have eaten them?
Maybe... but I figure it's a big school, and if they were sneaky enough... I dunno. There's one... Wait, there's a lot of them, when did they surround us?
I'm guessing when we were talking our mouths off and making a lot of noise... I think the hunters just became the hunted.
Ugh, let's get out of here.
Kelli and Lucus retreat back to the school, killing one on their way back. Nichole covers the door with a shelf once they're inside. A zombie breaks through into a classroom at which point Lucus shoots it in the head with a bolt-action rifle.Is that all of them?
I think the rest wandered off for now.
So you went out to keep the zombies off our backs... and wound up leading them right here...
We got sloppy, we should do better next time.

Kelli and Lucus patrol around, killing four zombies, then they head back.That went much better.
Yeah... Let's talk a little less when we do these things.

Kelli and Lucus carefully inch up to the door, and open it to find...What the fuck...
All the chairs in the room had been rearranged around the teacher's desk, there were two candles burning on either end of the desk, on which was arranged a bag of doritos, a tea pot with some tea cups, various bits of food, and a large plate of sandwiches. Sitting on the teacher's chair is a body with a large hole in it's head.Is that zombie I shot earlier? I thought we left it in the room across the hall?
Someone must have moved it here for their little... tea party. We better go get the others.
A short while later...Oh sweet, is there any actual tea?
No, I think the tea is of the imaginary kind.
This... this is really creepy.
Well hey, they left us all this food, and we were kind of low on food, so I think this was pretty kind of them.
No no no no.... We should just get out of here, the food is nice and all but I don't want to see what happens if this thing turns nasty.
Well we can't really leave until we've finished searching the place, and I figure we could probably do with using some of this food first.
Then I'm going to help you search.

Damn, and I was hoping for more clues. Well at least this wasn't a total waste of time, we got food.
