She fiddles with the sliders a bit, then presses a button. An opaque, wall-like cloud appears a few feet in front of her.

^{"The sliders adjust the angle from your facing and the distance from you that the wall deploys at. Should be fairly obvious which is which. There's also a size button, but don't make it too big or you'll have a cloud instead of a wall."}

Maria looks at the aforementioned cool flamer again. It's got some clockwork bits on it and some interesting control objects, but it's mostly a normal flamethrower.

"Mhm."

Richard nods.

"So apart from the nanite swarm, it's also a watch that tells proper time?

Nifty."

[Twi]

^{"It is indeed a watch. I like watches."}

Camille grins.

^{"As for the swarm, there's one more thing I should tell you... I haven't hit it with anything really hard yet, but when it fails, there's a significant chance of it failing catastrophically. As in, the whole thing just sort of dissolves and it takes a minute or so to ready for another deployment."}

"Thank god I can use Personas to shield myself then, otherwise I'd be sort of screwed if that happened.

Thanks Camille. Now I need to find something to give to you. It's how it works."

Richard smirked.

^{"Ehhhh, I've been trying to think of something to put in a watch and give to you for aaaages. It's sort of what I do."}

She chuckles.

Richard shrugs.

"I feel obliged to make you something in gratitude. Sort of a tradition in my family that if someone gives you something, you must return the favour."

[Twi]

Camille shrugs. ^{"Fair enough."}

She heads back to the Hive.

Richard shrugs, puts on the watch and walks back with the laptop.

[Cassandra]

She yawns and stretches, snuggling close to Barth as she looks around curiously.

[Twi]

Camille comes back in and starts attempting to explain the flamethrower to Maria.

It goes surprisingly well. Apparently she's seen similar weapons, albeit with superheated steam instead of fire.

Why... Are you giving her a flamethrower when she expressed desire to burn things?

Adrian looks up, but stays silent. He's interested in the answer as well.

She yawns and stretches, snuggling close to Barth as she looks around curiously.

Bartholomew wakes up as Ke snuggles closer, his eyes opening and quickly regaining their active, lively glint.

"Hello and good...morning, I suppose."

[Twi]

Camille shrugs at Diaenake.

^{"She's not getting to use it until I can find something to burn that has no chance of spreading to us. Which...is admittedly kind of unlikely. But still. Besides, I wanted to make a flamethrower. And even you must admit that 'holy fire' is an awesome concept."}

[Cassandra]

She smiles at him, turning her head to Barth.
