It appears that this is mostly a software problem as opposed to a hardware problem. The designator of 'go here' is easy enough. Getting nanites to form a coherent wall takes some doing.

Richard watches, but gets bored and wanders off into the woods.

Camille eventually follows him, holding with her an unassuming watch. Well, with a few suspicious sliders, but still fairly unassuming.

Richard vanishes into a bush, and reappears behind Camille with a laptop, looking dishivelled, holding his Evoker in the other hand.

Camille raises an eyebrow.
