"I seee..."

Maria is temporarily jammed up somewhat. However, like any good living thing, her body pushes itself back towards homeostasis, which is to say, it heats itself back up. Parts of it also begin to fill with what seems to be a sort of gas-based antifreeze. Odd, but it works nonetheless, and within a few moments, she's moving well enough to avoid the drones and head towards Tyrion.

"I really ought to use this book more... It's sort of hard to train with, though...for obvious reasons."

[Spinal_Taper]

He turns back around and sighs.
"You don't give up, do you?"
The ground beneath Maria cracks and opens up into a tube into the underground. Adrian twists a few knobs on the rifle.
"Because you'll be coming back.

Sona walks outside to watch the fight.

[Twi]

Maria falls, but stabs her sword into the wall of said tube (with the blade horizontal so it doesn't slice downwards) and easily hangs on. She slowly pulls herself up out of the tube, and takes out her book as she gets out.

"No, no I don't. This may hurt, but I'll fix it when I'm done."

But first she runs to avoid the expected rifle fire. Nonetheless, she flips her book open, and begins to chant as it glows orange. Slowly, she begins to strip the skin off of Adrian's dominant hand.

[Vorthon]

((GTG. Nap time *Yawn*))

[Spinal_Taper]

"Agh."
Adrian drops to his knees, holding his hand. The false skin strips away from his hand, leaving behind an artificial skeleton. Of course, it's impossible to tell his hand is artificial, neither is it possible to see the smirk on his face as he screams in false agony.

Sona watches the fight, raising her eyebrows as Adrian begins to scream.

[Caellath]

She shifts slightly.

"Sssshe noooo loooongerrr sssseemsss toooo ressspooond? Ooorrr.. Even have an influence? I dooon't knoooow hooow elssse toooo sssay it.. Have yooou everrrr had silence in yooourrrr mind that sssshooouldn't have been?"

"...Is she really lost? Don't you feel anything from her? I thought those were illusions!"
Bartholomew feels his legs shaking and he drops down to the ground, sitting and covering his face.

Tears start to form and flow down his cheeks. "...Please, tell me she can still come back."

[Twi]

Maria frowns, then applies her attack around the elbow or so .

"Too easy..."

And yet more chanting.

Camille has arrived to watch as well.

^{"Oh dear."}

[Spinal_Taper]

He falls onto his side, facing Maria. He continues screaming in agony, grasping at his elbow as he writhes on the ground. Its skin too rips off, leaving the artificial arm behind and linked to his hand. The drones silently fly into the air, still targeting her, but directly at the back of her head.

[Twi]

Maria blinks, before roaring: "TOO EASY!"
She suddenly stops chanting and whirls as if to storm off in disgust...but comes face to face with drones.

"Ah. Nevermind then."

She runs to dodge and resumes chanting, but this time just going straight for his chest, not bothering with any of his limbs.

Allie akes up and goes back inside.
"So... Apologies for attacking you, dragon. Goodbye."
She leaves.

[Cassandra]

She looks down.

"Like sssssoooo much elssse, it issss uncertain..."

[Spinal_Taper]

Adrian suddenly leaps to his feet, lowering the rifle at her chest. He fires simultaneously with his drones, all hitting her directly in one point. The flesh on Adrians chest rots away, leaving behind a macabre skeleton of black metal and artificial organs, with bits of flesh hanging off of it. Another headache shoots through his head and a stone pillar erupts from the earth, targeting Marias book hand.

Sona gives Camille a quick wave.
"Hey!"

[Twi]

Maria scowled, taking a decent bit of damage from the rifle and drones, but nothing to write home about. It'll regenerate, as they say.

"I thought you might have artificial limbs, but your WHOLE BODY?! Is there ANYTHING human in that body of yours save your brain?"
She leaps away from the stone pillar, but then throws her hands up in despair and starts healing him back up.

"Enough, enough. I don't want to look at that."

[Spinal_Taper]
