"You don't smell like any Quasi I've ever met... What are you?"

"Back in my homeworld, they called me an elf. But, I'm a druid. This means I interact with nature, at all of its levels, from the smallest worm to the mightiest tree."

"You mean like in Lord of the Rings?"

"It's just... Most people here have harder names to pronounce. Like Kykahten."

Maria scratches her head. "Elf, huh? Sounds...interesting, I suppose."

"It's a novel where I come from. It's about a small humanoid creature, who goes on a quest to destroy a magic ring. There's elves in it."

She opens her eyes widely, obviously interested in the interpretation of her people.

She smirked.

"And rather dangerous at that. But you don't seem like any of those things."

"This is way too fun."

"And rather dangerous at that. But you don't seem like any of those things."

Sona frowns.
"Master race? Yeah... I've met some people here who were afraid of me because I was an elf. I guess that some of the other races calling themselves elves were evil. Or, at least seen that way."

Silver flies down, then splits into three.

"This is way too fun."

"That's a lot of power, illusions."
She pauses for a moment and smiles.
"Good thing you're using it responsibly."

"I did say mythical. It's rather unlikely they actually existed there, at least when I was there."

Maria smirked at 'using it responsibly'.

"The only ones I can make solid are small ones. And would you consider surrounding a teammate with an illusion that seems like a threat be responsible?"

"They were a dying race. They'd had their time, and were kind of fading away. They were in the process of leaving for a place far to the west. They tended to be somewhat aloof. But there was one elf, Legolas, who accompanied the protagonist for a while. He was fairly interesting."
