Amroth begins the fight with a quick lightning strike. It hits the ogre chiefain's left arm, throws it off balance a bit, so when Ice jumps on the monster, he disarms the chieftain. The ogre tries to grab him, but the agile direwolf easily evades. Ishar attacks the other ogre, and slices it with his shiny new adamantine sword, cutting away some of the armor instantly. The chieftain slices at him with its massive axe, without a chance to hit him: Ishar is far too quick for attacks like this. Sir is the last one to join the fray, but he makes his entrance count: the dwarf sinks his sword deep into the ogre's chest, piercing through the iron plate like it was nothing.
Amroth zaps the first one again, this time scoring a headshot, knocking the ogre to the ground. Ice goes for the throat instantly, and he kills the ogre right there. Ishar chops off the second chiefthain's weapon-hand, and as Sir twists his sword to deepen the wound, the ogre swats him away with its last act of defiance. Sir flies several yards back, but he is not really injured, and the blood loss overcomes the ogre quickly, it faints and bleeds out almost immediately.
1600 gold for me. That adamantine sword is kind of like cheating.
Thranduil shoots the werewolf in the chest with his first lightning arrow, that stuns the beast long enough for Celeborn and the wolves to engage the tigers. Wraith snaps a tiger's neck instantly, Celeborn beheads another, Ghost tackles another to the ground, but Specter is not so lucky: he goes for a killing bite as well, but the tiger narrowly avoids him, and bites his hind leg. Radaghast blasts the tiger away with an ice ball, but the damage is already done: Specter is limping severely, and no match for the arriving werewolf. The night creature lifts the huge direwolf with one hand, and breaks his neck.
Wraith brings the last free tiger to the ground, and the gladiators try to overpower the werewolf together. The werewolf dodges Thranduil's next arrow, and also breaks Radaghast's freezing spell. Celeborn is way luckier, he cataches the werewolf off guard, and slashes it multiple times. The beast retaliates with claws of its own, and soon, both of them are covered in deep scars.
However, the two direwolves soon finish their own opponents, and join Celeborn in the melee. Radaghast heals his elf teammate, and slowly but surely, they bring the werewolf down.
1400 gold for Mesor.
Cadmus tries to shoot one of the goblins, but misses by far. Mog isn't better off either, his firebolt also misses. The goblins almost reach them at this point, Medea blasts a goblin in the head with an ice ball, breaking its neck. Wendell gets enraged by the fact that a woman drew first blood, so he throws himself at the goblins. His charge is wildly successful, he brings the warleader to the ground, and starts clawing at its chest. Dog charges the third goblin, but, sadly, gets speared in the head, and dies instantly. Cadmus shoots the speargoblin in the leg, so Mog easily hits him with his own firebolt. The goblin fails to do anything about the situation, se Medea finishes it off with with another ice ball.
Wendell also lets out a victorious roar, as he holds the chopped off head of his opponent high. Warleader or not, the puny goblin had no chance against the huge orc warrior.
You gain 360 gold, plus 50 for the critical kill. Dog gets revived for free.
Tyd scores a flesh wound with his first bolt: it wasn't a bad shot overall, but the bear is just too damn huge for this. Recognizing the situation, ettad leaps into action. This is definitely his time to shine. He goes for the bear's head with his axe, but hits one of its forelegs instead. Unfortunately, the bear isn't as slow as it seems: it leaps at the gladiator, brings him to the ground, and bites his weapon-hand. Ettad can't hold the pain, and loses hold of his axe. He smacks the bear in the head with his shield, that confuses the beast long enough for Ettad to slip away from its grasp. Unfortunetly, he fails to retrieve his axe.
Tyd helps him out with a surprisingly good move, as he shoots the bear square in the eye with a well-placed shot. The animal falls into a rabid rage, and madly charges Tyd. The nimble kobold easily evades the predictable attack, and this gives enough time for Ettad to drop his shield, and grab his axe with his remaining good hand again. He runs at the bear immediately, to save Tyd, and slashes at the bear's face. His attack tears away quite a lot of flash, and the bear turns to him again. Tyd is ready however, and (incredibly) he pulls his trick off one more time, shooting the other eye as well.
The blind bear is no match for the pair at this point, and the two gladiators bring it down rather quickly.
200 gold for the bear, and Tyd gets +1 AGI for his amazing performance.
