I don't suppose Maria could  just stab it if she put enough strength behind it? It seems unlikely, but she is a hell of a lot stronger than a human, and her sword IS stronger and sharper than steel. (It's actually mostly made of 'silksteel', which most likely means it's probably some sort of Spartan 'ceremonial piece' from the Alpha Centauri universe. They would be the faction who would keep fully functional swords with futuristic enhanced alloys around.)

She might be able to hit it, but only would be able to kill it if the shot was perfect, and she could avoid Bucklers jaw, claws and cannon.

Diaena is immune to piercing, and normal bullets. The blasts from the cannon, though, and what it does to the surfaces she was connected to...

Uh... Unless Richard suddenly develops steel plates 2 feet wide, resistances won't do much against those shots. They're what AA cannons use.

I don't know if coilguns actually can jam. They use magnetism, not any sort of explosive, so the projectile would just keep going, I think.
