He'll be unable to free-run or run, but he can still shoot. And walk if he gets a crutch.

But hell if I'm going to let my characters be perma-crippled, seeing as it is sort of unfair.

@EC: That's why I didn't want this ER scenario to be brought, due to the fact it is highly painful. A lot of people died in the RtD for lack of cover planning.

A 30MM slug rips off legs with ease, although Maria can heal limbs that were destroyed.

Well, in ER, gunner bots are synth-flesh over metal skeletons. Synth-flesh is normal flesh, but much, much better. The unit is controlled by a computer in the core. They also have gauss cannons and other fun gadgets. Thus why people need to run.
