Ellie wakes up before falling back to sleep.

Richard notices a glowing blue door in the hit.

He enters it, and immediately hears a voice.

"Helloooooo...and welcome back to the Velvet Room."


"Oh, buggering fuck."

Angerus bursts through the last door of the hut before almost falling down off the hut system. The hut they were in led farther up into the trees than he would really like. To get to the bridge he would have to go across a series of nettings that was already covred in Vanbolds. "GODDAMNIT!" He yelled before jumping on the netting.

Iris walks into the control room and looks out the window at the rain. She hums a bit.

"That is a lot of water."

Richard took a seat in front of the longnosed man he knew as 'Igor'.

"It has occurred to me that I did not explain adequately last time. You were rather.....busy.

So, let me elaborate.

You are a Wild Card. A man with the potential to carry many masks.

And make many unbreakable bonds, upon which power shall be unlocked in your heart."

"What, so you're that voice in my head?"

"Indeed, visitor. You are but the fourth visitor to the Velvet Room. All of them, including you, are on a journey. Where yours shall end, I cannot tell.

All that I know is this."

Igor took out three cards.

The Fool, Death, and...the World? He only had a cursory knowledge of tarot decks.

He didn't believe in that nonsense.

"You shall begin a journey, in which deep change, emotionally, physically and spiritually shall happen to you.

And through out all of them...you shall emerge the better for them."

"What."

"Your experiences shall forge you during this journey.

I sense you already have...three people in your heart. And...one in particular is on your mind."

".....I don't believe you."

"That is well. Eventually you shall come around.

For now,...Angerus, was it? Yes, he needs your assistance for now.

Until then, good bye."

Richard was whisked out and into the real world.

He was right behind the netting Angerus was climbing over, just out of sight to both the Vanbolds and Angerus.

The netting creaked and strained under Angerus's weight. He occasinaly failed out with the Power bat to knock a Vanbold off but most of the time he was slowly and carefully moving across the netting. A Vanbold with a ballstiae began firing at him, hitting netting and making Angerus fail around and curse.

Richard took out his Evoker and watched carefully.

As Angerus reached the end of the netting he took a deep breath and lead onto the bridge, crushing two Vanbolds under his weight. He then ran across the bridge, killing Vanbolds on his way to the hut circle.

Richard quietly summoned Ameno-Uzume and snuck behind Angerus, killing stragglers who were trying to backstab him.

Angerus made his way into the hut cluster, it was a circle of huts sourrnding what looked to be one of the old buildings. Inside of it was a rather large spire of what looked like color. From it two giant Vanbolds steped out. There were horrible mutated things, as big as Angerus and covered with boils and lasions. There were hooked up to the spire by some weird tube things. Their hands had giant tubes with which they pointed and the party and squeaked.

Barth moves out of the barracks and into the medical bay, still with Iris' sash, sits near Ellie and checks her condition, sighing deeply.

"I never had doubts as far as I remember, you know." the medic says, as if more to himself than his patient. "But even if people need me, this place is still better than my old home, and I don't know if I'll ever be able to see it again..."

He stares for a moment at the sash, gripping it before asking to no one in particular with a low, contained voice: "Should I get used to this place and simply accept it as a new home?"

Iris looks at the controls, and messes around. She snickers a bit, and begins playing this over the intercom.

"Heheh."

She runs off giggling.

[Taricus]

The intercom's power cuts of after about a second, leaving the ship in silence...

Richard sighed and waited for Ke and Angerus at the hut entrance, he had already cleared the area of Vanbolds with Ameno-Uzume.

Nathan peeks around a wall and jogs to the hut when he sees that all the Vanbolds are dead."Nicely done. I would have helped out a bit more but I don't have... whatever power it is that you have."
