If his Shield Warfare is too overpowered, just remove the extra +1 to ranged defense. (So it only has +1 defense against melee/ranged in total).

You still refer to him as Aarturius in the appearance. Also, yeah, Shield Warfare should just have +1 defense overall.

Family Man: Cannot attack kids until successfully harmed. When attacking kids, gains an additional -1 modifier to all offensive rolls. Gains +1 modifier when protecting kids.
Appearance: Wears so many rags and ripped cloth that he's positively overdressed. Scarves hide his face and wears goggles. Very messy hair. Standard build.
Brief Biography: Calm and collected Oneshot. A mercenary by trade, times got a little tough and now, he's in this competition, assured in his own abilities. After unsuccessfully fighting in the first round and losing to Aarturius, Oneshot is aiming to use this, not just to get money, but to improve his skills.

Brief Biography: Having heard of his father's death in the arena, he came to the fight to avenge his father's death, that being to sole thing fuelling his fighting power.

Biography: Lupoid was a bold young man. At age 14, he recieved a vision from a pack of Wolf Spirits. He became a shaman's apprentice, but ran off, bored and seeking treasure and power. He ended up here.
Notes: Magic is potentially powerful but hard to control; sixes and ones will be Fun. Lupoid won't make the best choices, and has lower HP.
HP: 17/17 (??)

How many HP sounds fair? Lupoid's magic is more of the "Summon Spirits" than the "Fireball!" variety.
