IronyOwl cancels Play Mafias: Ambushed by Chrysallids

Toaster:
Irony:  If it was 5p LYLO and your scum partner was being scummy, but there was a single vote from someone not on your team on someone else not on your team, what circumstances would make you bus your scumbuddy instead of go for the hammer on the misvoted person?
I think this would mostly come down to whether I had any prior, or at least original, suspicions on them or not. I'd most likely get greedy for the win right there, rather than killing my buddy to drag it out another day, but it'd look too transparent if I suddenly bandwagoned like that.

Of course, if we're talking about literal hammers then possibly just if I suspected LYLO-breaking shenanigans (vig or similar) that would make a scum hammer not necessarily the same as a scum victory.

Jim:
IronyOwl, what useless RVS questions are you going to ask and to whom, and why them?
At this point, probably none. Usually I go for a mixture of arbitrary selection and hitting people who haven't been questioned already or aren't doing anything.

Imiknorris:
IronyOwl: Lurk moar. Also, what two abilities are you most afraid of?
Will do!

As for abilities, generally the subtle stuff. Arson primes and conversions are probably the nastiest two things I can think of off the top of my head, because they have a huge impact without having a huge tell.

Tiruin:
PFP

TolyK. IronyOwl.

Where are you.
Being mauled by Chryssalids, mostly.

Deathsword, how's your hunting coming along? Good? Bad?

penggo, why don't you care about finding scum? You've done nothing all day except answer questions. Blandly, I might add.

ZU:
Shakerag mostly for his bad questions.
What, exactly, is wrong with them? I got the general vague version of "they don't provoke deep thoughts" or whatever, but why specifically were/are those bad, not-productive questions? What makes them worse than other peoples' bad questions, or lack of questions at all?

Knowing your win condition is automatically more productive than not, so yes, by default.

Was this question relevant at all?
In this very post you express a strong anti-RVS sentiment. Which I support, by the way. RVS is a tool for getting discussion going, not for trying to get a miraculous insight on someone's alignment. So why the hell do you care whether someone knows his wincon when he answers about his favourite colour or the amount of wood a woodchuck could chuck or not?

Then how are you going to know what your scumbuddies are saying?
I don't believe in them. I'm an ascumbuddieist.

Dariush:
Why are you ignoring obvious sarcasm?
Because I want to hear his response to my response.
And... ignoring obvious sarcasm is supposed to somehow make it more likely for him to make a serious answer?

We need Extends, people! Day ends in ~11 hours without (five?) more Extends.

Y?

And if your post vanished, could you re-post what you intended? One question given and answered, who are your top scumpicks for now?
Hapah's answer was satisfactory. Think still has to show up and answer my RVS question to him.

The vanished post had these two statements in addition to my question to you.

I haven't finished reading the rest of the thread, I'll answer the scumpick question after that.

First Extend.

Deathsword, how's your hunting coming along? Good? Bad?
Could be better.

Toaster's odd question got me off balance a bit, as well.
What do you mean by a question "getting you off balance"?

Tiruin: I don't have any real scumpicks for now.

This was your whole lost post? O_o

What do you mean by could be better? Still, why don't you have any? No suspicions or...otherwise?

What do you think about ZU, on Shakerag? And why aren't you voting someone?

It wasn't quite the usual RVS crap. I didn't expect to have to think through why he'd tell me what he was telling me.

ZU:
There are many kinds of good questions so it's hard to come up with a specific definition, but good questions are usually require some thought and provoke responses that reveal something about the person answering.
And you've asked zero of those yourself. Why not?

Quote
Why are you calling IO for lurking when it's been less than 1 day since day 1?
Because I could. Also he had made zero posts.

Deathsword: For someone who claims not to have any real scumpicks, you sure don't seem to be interested in finding any.
