what do you need?

i give a example:

crystalline: a strange somewhat invulnerable being that sends out crystals of extreme sharpness at the expense of using it own body as ammo: if it sends out too much then it will go into a  staisis that will make it regrow it self: it can eat biological and non biological matter to speed it up: the more energy it has the faster it will speed up.

Right. Clone all of the heroes.  Every single one.  Then let's describe them in extreme detail! No, just kidding.
Collect DNA from any of our heroes we haven't yes, just in case.  Then, continue to antagonize Sin.  Then kill all the heroes he sends at us.

You have DNA from everyone, but need more stem cells (or at least organic material, but stem cells are by far the best) before you can clone more. You prep the lab, though. Now it's lunchtime.
