I'm glad The Great Elbow Hall I made went over so swimmingly. And apparently garnierite is the ONLY metal that naturally occurs on this map besides cotton candy, and just to put some turd sprinkles on our 120-proof scat sundae, it can only be smelted to produce the most useless metal in the entire game: nickel. In dwarven, the only word for "nickel" also translates to "rough object with which to wipe one's dirty buttocks" depending on how you intone it.

Nope. Those levers have no notes. Those are notes for some other levers I made that are a few levels upwards. I have absolutely no idea what those unmarked levers you pulled did but I'm sure that we will have fun finding out (as long as nobody pulls any of the four or so gameover levers.)

Mortal evemies of the dorfkind. Vile spawns of evil and all things elvish. trees can never be trusted. Silentry they wait and stalk usm, always one step behind our dorfs, watching and laying in wait. Gorwing in numbers and strenght. Waiting for just the right moment to attack and finish us off when we least expect it.
Tp sprread their evil green influence of growth and elves over our lovely mountainhomes.

WHY THE HELL DID WE BUILD A FORTRESS IN TH EMIDDLE OF A HUGE FOREST?!? Who thought it was a good idea? A den of those foul wooden thralls of elvenkind.
For each one our lumberdorfs cut two more will take its place. Better just stay under a roof of rock (and water in our case) and if forced to enter the vomit-inducing abovelands we must tread carefully AND CARRY A BIG AXE!

I'm waging a war against my areries and i think that I'm winning.
red onion and olive omelet friend in puigfat and a sidedish of fried chantarelle mushrooms, onions, micned beef and fried salo. then some seasoned french toast fried in pugfat and butter with white beans and chilisauce
oh, and a meat pastry thingie and a piece of sausage. i wonder if ithat is enough greese. perhaps i should fry some bacon too...

i think we can all agree that there have been many strange forts in this adventure, but this one is the one we'll truly remember as ''being beautiful''. There is a calm, serene feel that one can only experience while gazing upon the fort while absurdly drunk. It is disfunctional, full of trash, and poorly designed, and yet, in all this chaos, one can see the fundation of something truly artistic. Good to see my "four unlocked doors into the cavern" initiative worked out so well  8)

dwarves kept going into the caverns for no damn reason so I just said screw it and installed a bunch of doors. Seemed like a good idea at the time, just like sealing up the WATER HOLE INTO THE CAVERNS WITH A FORGOTTEN BEAST IN THEM WHO LIKED TO LOOK AT THE GRATES INSIDE VERY OFTEN was.
So, the reason why we have been invaded by crundles, creeping eyes, troglodytes, rutherers, BLIND CAVE OGRES and two FBs was all because one ogre or something saw a door (or how ever something blind finds a door. By the force of pure rage I presume) and decided to kick it down, thus letting the whole zoo simply walk inside and kill dorfs for two turns?
You know, I kind of like that

By the way, the grates are still intact
Edit: Someone should try to tame crundles. They are already one of our main food and leather sources so might aswell cut the middleman and breeed them ourselves. Every dorf deserves a cute little pet crundle
