Earth, 17 January 2004 ADC Head:
"Sir the Reich just called in, they happy with our reply, and they now asking us to ratify this treaty:
VENUS-MARS AGREEMENTS
1. The Allied Nations will focus their xenoarcheological efforts on Mars while German Reich wil focus their efforts on Venus. Both nations shall refrain interfering the other nations work.
2. Ships with nationality other than the nations that was described in point 1 who enter 8M km area surrounding Venus or Mars (named Venus Sphere and Mars Sphere respectively) must stop for examination and decontamination.
3. No weapon technology should ever be shared with other nations.
4. The point of this treaty will also applied if humankind found another ruins on Solar Systems or on other Star System.
"
ASA Head:"Sir, the missile production has been started. Our missile factory are assembling PDGB-1 Peacekeeper MIRV at 100% capacity. It takes 5-6 days to produce 1 MIRVs."
Sir we will send the 61st and 62nd Engineer Brigade (renamed 1st and 2nd Mars Engineer Brigade) with 63th and 64th Garrison Battalion (renamed 1st and 2nd Mars Guard Battalion) to Mars. The ANAS-1 Argo are loading the 1st Mars Engineer Brigade personnel and essential equipments and supplies via Kennedy Spaceport Shuttles Service. It will take several days until all personnel and equipments are loaded. The EDT (Estimate Departure Time) is 19 January 2004. The Ship will arrive at Mars in 21 January 2004."
Allied State Secretary:"Sir, per your orders, the Inquirer had been ordered to survey Jupiter Systems. They will arrived in 13 days.
If we use the our Cargo Ship to travel to Saturn, it will take at least one month journey to place the facilities and one month journey to back to Earth, is this arrangements all right sir?."
"Sir MTC (Maglaras Trading Company) had launch another Super Atlas Freighters. This bring our civilian total cargo capabilities to 50000 tons. Currently they are busy moving Maintenance Facilities to Mars, and infrastructure to Moon as the Lunar Society are building new Lunar City in Shoemaker Crater.
(the civies are expanding moon)"
ARLaN Chief:
"Sir, it looks like Prof. Haufler done it again. As she researching the best method to improve our research output, she implement those methods for her own research researching the best research methods. This make her research skill increase dramatically and speed her own research by one month! Truly she must had the best mind in all Allied Nations (after mine of course)."
Earth, 18 January 2004 Allied State Secretary:Sir, MTC launches another Super Atlas Freighter. This bring the MTC total cargo potential to 75000 tons. We can move a lot of things with this. Maybe we can send them bringing instalations to establish outpost in Titan?"
Mars Territories, 19 January 2004 ASA Head:"Sir, the Argo now depart to Mars. It will at least two day for Argo to arrive at Mars."
Mars Territories, 21 January 2004 ASA Head:"Sir, the Argo had arrived on Mars and begin unloading 1st Mars Engineer Battalion personnel and their equipment using onboard shuttles. This will take a while. The colonist on Libertium are volunteered to construct makeshift barracks and base for the engineers."
Mars Territories, 21 January 2004 Allied State Secretary:"Sir, all maintenance facilities and related equipment had been delivered to Mars. Mars now had capability to maintain 1000 ton voidships. But Mars still lack colonist although our colony ships moving colonist as quick as possible, maybe we need give MTC some funding to establish a civilian passenger line."
Earth, 23 January 2004 Allied State Secretary:"Sir, all of 1st Mars Engineers Brigade personnel had landed on Mars soil. They currently establishing home bases for fellow troops while waiting dr. Koch decipher the mysteries of Ruins on Mars. But I'm affraid I had a not so pleasant news Sir.
As you can see, our recent Missile construction deplete our last Tritanium deposits now we had Tritanium Shortage!
One MIRV cost $10.629.600. 4.5 ton Tritanium, 1.4426 ton Gallicite, and 125 Liquefied Sorium Fuel. Since converting Construction factories also cost 5 tons Tritanium, no wonder our tritanium deposite diminish quickly. Here is our mineral situation on Earth:
I had several short and long term option to help relieve this situation. The short term option was:
1. We should decrease missile output by 50%. This should solve the titanium shortage while we convert new mines.
2. Since the Lunar Base had 5 prototype automines, Luna had several ton minerals. We can transport the minerals to Earth to help our situation although ony by slightly.
3. We can trade something for tritanium with East China.
4. We can trade something for tritanium with UNAC.
The Longterm option are pretty simple, find easily accessible Tritanium deposit asteroids or moons or planets and install our automines and mass driver in there."
(I never known that we will experience the first shortage as early as this... We just start 23 days... not even a month... I never experience this before...)Gentlemen, I suggest we land a geology team on Titan as a way to seize it.
Establish proto-colonies on all three moons as soon as practical.
We can start mining when our production is up to grade and then we need to protect our assets.
The Cargo Ships top speed only 797 km/s. It will take 22-23 days for Earth-Saturn journey, give or take 3-4 days depend on planetary configuration. It was a long journey, and during those 44-46 days we can't transport anything if we send all cargo ships to Titan. So what should we do?
