"Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear." A voice appears in your cubicle. "Another batch o' recruits for th' EverSim, eh? Well, despite our selection, it looks like anoth'r generation o' weaklings. We'll try and get six of ya' through this training for the Institute, but I ain't promising nuthin', especially if yer anythin' like the last lot."
You hear some faint whispering.
_{"Oh yeh, where's that piece a' paper you want me t' read? Ah."} The voice goes monotonous and slow, the speaker obviously bored.
"You shall be tested on your strength of character, heart and determination through this wonderful machine. The EverSim 3tx-2000...yeah yeah, blah... Can take you to any moment in time, past or future, in any situation, and is operated by the most devious mind in this whole facility. Previous test have seen recruits sent in to the Battle of Hastings to protect King Harold II, to the future to prevent the invention of hyperspace drives, and even, in the most trying of tasks, to prevent themselves being born." The normal voice returns to the speaker.
"Yeah, yeah... And that's about it. Basic'lly, we're gonna throw you inta' stuff where you'll be quickly slaugh'ered, and the best six of you 'orrible lot'll have to deal with this fing we've gotta get dun. May tha' Lord 'elp us all."
The voice cuts out.

The intro says it all, basically. I, as the dick of a GM, will throw you in to random situations throughout time or maybe even beyond time in varying groups, and looking at your performance. Points gained or lost from this (next spoiler) will then go towards a leaderboard. There'll be two or three rounds spent whittling down the twelve to six, before the main storyline starts.

The Institute will grant you points based on your performance in the tests. These will be used to determine which of you continues on to the next stage. They will be allocated as follow, but I may choose to add or subtract points on special occasions:

• For being In-Sim at the end of a test - 1 (You can be removed from the Sim as a result of the following things - Death, Failing to meet a test's requirements or if the Institute deems it necessary.)
• For completing a stage of an objective - Varies, detail in test brief. (each objective is split in to parts, the bonus below is for full completion)
• For completing the objective - 5 (only the first team will recieve this bonus)
• For completing set Side Missions - Varies (I'll send out other objectives to individuals via PM for extra points. These do not HAVE to be completed, but it is recommended.
