Well your character knows that Rusthell is a.. rusting hell on the westcoast, its a port city buildt from scrap salvaged from wrecks found on the coast, and in the ruins of an old pre-war city, the actual name is unknown but it is agreed that it used to be Los Angeles, California. They loathe and fear mutants. Theres rumors of secret mutant cults down in the sewers. Oh, and he works as a store clerk at Rustmart and lives in room #379 in the appartment complex at 4th Griffington Avenue.

The police, the robots, all disappear in a puff of dreamy smoke. You were just dreaming! Your fell asleep on your way to Rusthell! You are at the side of the road. An old rusty robot passes by, its rusty old joints creaking from rust, and the faint bubbling of its boiling coolant fluid.

So you stagger around just outside Rusthell, where all the not-quite-rejected-but-still-hated mutant hobo's are. You find a nice turned over concrete half-tube to sleep in, but theres something inside.
