(( I wasnt intended to tuck my head down :) it's one of the tricks i picked up when i was younger and went to army cadets they taught us that in a hand to hand fight you should lower yourself into a crouch because it lowers your center of gravity and improves you balance and also allows you to put the full force of your body into an attack or to lunge a fair distance coming up ))

((Your character wasn't in the Army Cadets, so it makes sense that he wouldn't do that. Besides, it's not about what you intend to do. It's about what I roll for you and how I'd like to progress the story.))

Albert fumbles for the one of the parachutes kept under the seat and puts it on, trying to find a way to jump out!

(( Just FYI, there are no parachutes on commercial airliners, but there ARE floatation devices underneath all of the seats. ))

Okay, grab what he THINKS is a parachute, and jump out of the plane.

((What ELSE can I do? Wait for it to crash? Wait...I'm pretty sure they do have parachutes SOMEWHERE on a Commercial Airliner.))

SCREW IT. Keep Praying, but put on the floatation device.

((You'd think that, but you'd be wrong... If they had any parachutes, people would probably panic and fight over them. Your character might not know, but in the event of a crash, the safest place to be is inside the plane. Besides, most plane crashes happen on takeoff or landing, so it's even less cost-effective to put parachutes on-board. They're also heavy and expensive... The stewardesses tell you when you get on the plane that there are floatation devices underneath the chairs for use in a water landing, the proper position for bracing, etc. If you really think your character would look around for a parachute to try and escape from a plane that's spinning out of control, go for it. I just wanted you to know that it might not be the best use of your final moments in the air...))

Sarah, still deep in calculations about the impact velocity and and angle of the aircraft, is ripped out of her thoughts when she hears a huge explosion behind her and feels the wind rushing through her hair. Trying to keep herself from panicing, she tries to put on the air mask. She then fumbles around under her seat and attempts to put on the lifejacket that is supposed to be there.

(( Lol parachutes on a public flight? U know what would happen if you put 200 people with no idea what there doing in a parachute and asked them to jump from a nose diving plane?
Half of them would fall over and be smashed to pieces flopping around the ship 2/3 of the remaining would jump out and completely fail to use the parachute and fall to there deaths.
And the last small group would probably ending up spinning in circles until the chute broke up and they plummeted to there doom.
Using a parachute aint easy ))
