Yeah, we are. So, due to me not doing things right, you guys should now come up with a reason for your characters being Marvel fan-fic characters.

I already gave a justification back on page 1:

The World
Before you start playing, the players and GM must agree on an original work that the adventure is afanfic of.

I propose Battleworld, populated by our characters, each from whatever verse we want rather than stock Marvel characters, with the role of Beyonder to be played by the GM, and the villain/npc slots to be filled out by the GM once it's become established whether and which players are heros or villains.

Whatever interdimensional Beyonder-expy you want is running around grabbing creatures from various universes to test some proposition about the nature of love, desire, self-identity, etc. Since said interdimensional creature is above such things, he can't think of any better way to test it than by having people of various beliefs fight it out.

Just like Beyonder trying to learn about desire, the Star Trek episode with Abraham Lincoln, etc.

We're not all Marvel characters because our Beyonder-expy is so beyond the traditional 3 dimensional human sort of experience, that he can't easily differentiate trivial little things like us being from difference universes. If you walked into the grocery store to pick out a bunch of apples, would it ever occur to you to check whether each of the individual apples were from the same orchard? Of course not. It never occurred to the being who brought us here to check whether we were from the same universe. Why would it matter?

  Can move through stuff, and can become acidic when it moves through stuff to destroy anything. (This is one power. Definitely.)
  Can possess people and objects.
  Can transform into anything, include a fireball-throwing vampire named NightMike. Everyone knows to call him NightMike when he is in this form, even if they shouldn't.
  Genius inventor.

Weaknesses
  Mischievous

I'm ready. Although I notice that Irenicus has nearly twice as many infinite abilities as were allowed. Also get the impression he's a knock-off of Nyte. Same magic power, same immortality, and infinitely merciless instead of forgiving. He even mimicked my descriptions.

I'm not particularly trying to be rude, but that is one of the most ludicrous and baseless accusations I've heard in a while. How does him being a wizard make him a knock-off of your pony? Especially since most of the characters here have magical powers, immortality, or both as well. I mean, really now.

Edit: Granted, he has far too many abilities as it stands.

It was more obvious before his edit to add a bunch of stuff in: 2 out of 5 infinite powers were identical to mine, 1 was a thematic opposite, and he made the same joke as I did about character orginality in the power section.

That, or a coincidence. Those two statements were hardly identical. In any case, I'm getting really strange vibes here. From what I know of Sinpwn, he isn't unoriginal enough to copy someone else (especially for something as easy to write as a Sue). Even if he for some reason did, I don't see why it would merit that sort of passive-aggressiveness.
